First and last visit. Booth chairs were like sitting on concrete. No padding on the seats. But great food if you like hair in it. Both my order and my wife's were garnished with the stuff. Had to send it back. Cringe worthy experience.

Took the waitress at least 15 minutes to even come over to us. She then didn't give me the milk and Splenda I asked for. I asked 3 times before getting milk and 4 for sugar. Finally got food and had to ask multiple times for butter and syrup. We watched the cook singing over the food. Personally I think the cooks should wear mask if performing a concert. So there's no risk of spraying spit on food. Then to top it off the cook coughed over the food on the grill and did not cover his mouth. The place is cleaner then most WH I've been to. But the service was terrible and the habits were not very sanitary. I've lost my taste for WH.

We went here there this Sunday am And had Kelsey as our server. She was very efficient and super nice. The place was very busy and so many people were working. Go to for a good quick breakfast . Staff were very friendly

What has happened to the Shallotte NC waffle house?!?! We used to come in at least once a month and haven't been in a couple months and seems like all the employees have changed out. We have tried to come by twice and both times it looks like a bomb went off with unclean empty tables. We were waiting over 10 minutes for a table to be cleaned and staff saw us standing there so we left. The second attempt was the same but a table was clear but not wiped off. Not busy and we waited 10 minutes for someone to wait on us. We noticed others not being waited on. I noticed other's orders coming one thing at a time with several minutes between deliveries. This used to be a well oiled/choreographed working machine/restaurant. I used to love to watch how orders would be taken, called out, processed down the cook line and the picked up and delivered to tables in an amazingly quick amount of time. This was also the only waffle house that I would go to since all of the others were nasty and with roaches. I don't know what happened but I hope it gets corrected quickly!

I came in on a late afternoon one day. The food was still fresh, delicious, and came out in less than 5 minutes. The waitresses were relaxed and friendly, and it was quiet inside. Could be a little bit cleaner on the tables, but a great experience overall.
