In Southern Pines for an equestrian event and we took one of the competitors to dinner as she highly recommended you. She was right!
Lovely little restaurant in the main part of town, just off the main street. Cute decor and comfortable seating.
Dinner was lovely. We had deviled eggs and fried artichokes for an app - droolworthy.
Dinner was fabulous. I had a pork shank and my two friends had Duck and Pasta, both also delicious.

We had a delicious meal at Ashten’s. We started with the artichoke pops and the pickle & hummus plate. It was the best hummus any of us had ever tasted. For mains, we ordered the duck, rigatoni, and burger. Everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert, we split the chocolate cake and sipped on some port. Our server, Madison, was very impressive & knowledgeable. We dined outdoors and enjoyed the cozy blankets provided.

First time eating at Ashten's. They opened exactly in time and escorted us to our table quickly after arriving. We were seated on the first floor where there were a few tables. Very quiet with no distractions. We both had the Roasted Pepper and Fennel Bisque. Absolutely a must have if it is on the menu. I had the Duck and my wife had the NY Strip cooled medium. Perfect temperature and already cut when it was brought to our table. Staff was attentive and we enjoyed ourselves....
