This is our first time getting take out food from this restaurant. We will be going back but here’s our initial impressions.
The food quality was very good - ingredients were fresh, cooked well, and portions were generous.
The chips are fantastic as was the salsa.
The order was completed quickly and accurately.
The not so good:
The food was salty. Now I’m not a big salt lover so I taste salt more than others but I found the food to be very salty and I don’t like that. I will need to add more sour cream or guacamole to bring down the saltiness but that is my only real complaint.
The other two people that ate the food did notice the salt level but did not complain about it.
Overall the food was tasty - I personally would need to modify it for it to be less salty.
I ordered the Burrito Tejano.

Small, quaint, mom and pop Mexican restaurant with absolutely delicious, very flavorful meals. I could almost drink the salsa! The staff are pleasant and friendly. Definitely one of my most favorite restaurants in Moore County, NC. If you love Mexican cuisine like I do, give this place a try. You might just fall in love with it!

Imma tell you, the chips are home made and the salsa is absolutely Deeelicious! The fajita plate was awesome! The burrito ala diabla is to die for! I had grilled chicken with mine. Overall, if I could afford this place, the name would change! ๐

For sure the best Mexican restaurant we've been to in greater Moore county! The staff is super friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious. There's been some price creep at other Mexican restaurants in the area and it just doesn't seem to be a good value given the pretty mediocre quality of the food. At La Poblanita the food is different than we typically see. For example, the refried beans appear to be exactly that - pinto beans that have been cooked and then fried - savory and delicious. The refries we see at other restaurants look and taste like bean paste right out of a can. All of the dishes we've had at La Poblanita are prepared with far more care than the food at other local restaurants. Highly recommended!
Burrito was delicious and just the perfect size. Authentic taste and pleasant staff. The margarita was fantastic
