Historic Inn needs to be updated so more people can enjoy the beauty of the place.Restaurant ok, for lunch our burger was very rare, didnt know we needed to ask for cooked burgers. Kids meals a little pricey since their drinks were extra. Wait staff great!!Daytime desk clerk on Tuesday the 2nd was great!!!Dark haired guy in the pro shop needs to work on customer service, rude dude!!
I had time to play a round of golf at either Mid Pines or Pine Needles on vacation a couple weeks ago and decided to play Mid Pines at the recommendation of a friend and I wasn't disappointed. I really loved the course and playing well there helped too! The group of guys I was paired with were incredibly nice and all the golf staff working there were amazing and so friendly. The course was in beautiful shape and was the perfect balance of challenging.

Besides the golf course being elite, the food post-round was very good. Highly recommend the Salmon BLT and fries. The back patio overlooking 18 was a perfect spot to sit and eat post-round before leaving town after our golf trip had ended.
