Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q has undergone improvements, offering a transformed dining experience. The restaurant now has a clean, bright, and welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly, with kind and courteous staff, often including someone older at the window, which customers appreciate. The food is delicious, with standouts like crispy fried chicken, tasty coleslaw, and flavorful potato salad. Customers enjoy dishes such as the pulled pork sandwich, which comes with super hot and crispy fries. Though some have noted that the sandwich can be dry and requires extra vinegar sauce, the overall value for the cost remains good. Orders are consistently accurate, and it provides a great spot for fast food with an enjoyable dining experience. However, the sweet tea has been mentioned as a bit too sweet and needing a fresh brew. The restaurant's street sign is also noted as not easily readable.
