We came into town for the day and had lunch on the outside patio as the air conditioning was too cold. The menu was fantastic, and we had a very hard time deciding. He got the Bison burger and I the lamb burger as we don't get either in too many places. We really loved the back patio and the fans. Lunch was delicious. He said the Bison was very good but could have used a little salt. The lamb was great, especially with the added tziki sauce. I would love to go back and hear...
Came here for a late lunch as a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Husband’s Cuban with plenty of delicious topping and my seafood dip (perfection really) was a true delight! He wanted the pecan pie with ice cream which he enjoyed and I shared a little but really should be presented on a bigger dish (looked like a saucer) as it was spilling over so rather awkwardly presented. Will be back for sure next time we’re in the area as it’s one of the better restaurants...
Lunch on Father’s Day: the tavern was not too busy. The barbecue beef brisket had plenty of meat with just enough barbecue sauce. Onion rings: got the end of the bag with breading chunks and some onion. The coleslaw was really good- it had a vinegar base that was not overpowering. The sweet tea was good-not overly sweet. The bean burger was exceptional. I substituted provolone cheese for the pepper jack cheese because I am not a fan of spicy cheese. The sweet potato fries tasted...
