Bald Head Coffee in BSL is an absolute gem. Bright comfortable space, drive thru for convenience, friendly staff, and everything I’ve ever ordered is delicious. My favorite though? They can make the basics right- latte, breve, cappuccino, each one perfect every time. Any coffee shop can make a frappe with syrup and sugar. BHC can do that and more- AND they use coffee ice cubes in their iced coffee. Always worth the trip, and a great place to work, read, or hold a small meeting.
Outstanding coffee, friendly and efficient associates. They have a great variety of baked goods and sandwiches. The decor is comfortable and contemporary.
I had been wanting to try this place since they opened. We were finally in town and we stopped in, It did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There are lots of options to choose from and the coffee was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend going here.
Had a brownie latte iced with a fresh blueberry muffin that was amazing!!! They have a ton of things to choose from and staff is happy to help you choose when you can’t decide
Good drinks and a nice staff
We only get to visit 1-2 times per year due to living in Charlotte, but when we do we stock up on coffee! If you get the change to stop I highly recommend any of their baked goods. Only suggestion for improvement would be directions with the line because it’s always a little confusing. Highly recommend making this a stop if you’re visiting or a regular spot if you live nearby.
Coffee is fabulous. So many options for hot and cold drinks. Lots of yummy food options.
Amazing customer service and great atmosphere. My kids and I love stopping by after the gym, we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve gotten so far. Looking forward to my next matcha frappe next time we go☺️
I enjoyed a delious bacon, egg & cheese croissant this morning! Friendly & fast service!
Excellent staff and great service. They are always willing to make a suggestion or provide you with a sample if you’re having trouble deciding.

I start most days by heading to Bald Head Coffee and Tea House, where I’m always greeted with a smiling face and exemplary service by the entire staff. The coffee is consistently great, no matter what you order, but I am partial to their cold brew coffee. I’ll always choose to support local, especially this location and crew of amazing individuals.

I can say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Great staff, great owners, great coffee. You feel part of the Bald Head Coffee and Tea House family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is cozy, beautiful and clean. Certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local (16 miles round trip daily with my Golden Retriever). My dog gets spoiled just as much as I do. A tasty pup cup with a peanut butter/oatmeal cookie, that is locally made, topping it. The pup cookies are sold there as well as many wonderful bakery items and sandwiches, bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Locally made sourdough bread, teas, coffees and much more is available. Enjoy the outdoor patio which is perfect when the weather’s nice; dogs are welcome. If traveling on 87 to or from Southport, stop in. You’ll be glad you did.
