A great variety of tasy desserts! 100% recommend

We visit oak island every year and I have never tried Burney’s until today. My son and I picked out multiple items and the woman who helped us asked if we’d ever been there before. When I said no, she gave us a glazed croissant to try for free! It was delicious, I ended up purchasing another w/buttercream icing filling and it was so good. Everything I purchased was great and was gone before the end of the day. Already planning to go back tomorrow before we have to head home :)

This place used to make the best croissants, but lately they have been skimming on the filling even the glaze has gotten lighter, I usually buy these at least 4 times a week but If it doesn’t go back to the way it was then I will just move on

I kept my hopes in check before visiting… because I love croissants, donuts, cronuts, cruffins etc and didn’t want to be disappointed. I definitely was not! This is a cute bakery that had very friendly staff. The croissants are small and super affordable. I got 2 to try- buttercream and gingerbread. Both were so good, I stopped back after exploring the area to get 6 to bring home. The cream cheese one is like a pudding that tastes like the center of a cheese danish. They also sell other baked goods which I’d like to try… but it would be hard not to order the croissants!
