We visit oak island every year and I have never tried Burney’s until today. My son and I picked out multiple items and the woman who helped us asked if we’d ever been there before. When I said no, she gave us a glazed croissant to try for free! It was delicious, I ended up purchasing another w/buttercream icing filling and it was so good. Everything I purchased was great and was gone before the end of the day. Already planning to go back tomorrow before we have to head home...

Glazed filled croissants. Beautiful array of baked goods. Friendly staff. Everything was awesome. A "must stop" every trip to Southport

This place used to make the best croissants, but lately they have been skimming on the filling even the glaze has gotten lighter, I usually buy these at least 4 times a week but If it doesn’t go back to the way it was then I will just move on
