Delightful server and delicious food. Had the chicken and waffles Nashville style, it was really good. My wife enjoyed the decor along with loaded macaroni and cheese.. They also have great biscuits, coffee and desserts. The picture I uploaded only shows about half of the chicken. I started eating before I took the pic.

We had a nice experience here. Nice and friendly service after a short wait. Had the patty melt (where’s the rye?) but it was delish nonetheless. Spouse loved the veggie wrap with Sriracha aioli. Great fries and topped off with a great mimosa.

I used them for breakfast snacks for a bridal party and everything was fabulous. We ordered a variety of breakfast sandwiches all with fruit as the side. We asked to have the fruit all put together in one bowl so it would be together. They put it in a 9 x 13 rubbermaid container and had it laid out beautifully! We asked to have the sandwiches cut in half (to make them easier to eat) and wrapped in foil (to keep them warmer). Not only did they do that, but they actually wrapped each half separately - which actually worked out even better! Each half was labeled with the type of sandwich. The bridal party was at the 'party house' on Oak Island, so there were other people in and out of that area and grabbed a half sandwich here and there. Needless to say, they were all gone! If you need catering, consider Carolina Coastal Cafe! They will take care of you. They did a great job for my friend's daughter's big day. We we're thrilled with the result!

The staff went above and beyond in spite of being short staffed. The extra spontaneous touch of the delicious cinnamon rolls for our wait and my birthday was delightful. Not only was the staff phenomenal, the food was perfect! I cannot recommend this place more highly!!!

Awesome cafe, service was tremendous, large portions and a fair price. No pictures of the food because I couldn’t wait to dive into the Nashville chicken and egg bowl. The Mac n cheese is over the top too.

The people are awesome, and they definitely make the place. The food was ok. The burger was very solid, but the rest was definitely lacking. I’d like to come back with the family and give it another shot because we really liked it here.

What a find!!!! The food is excellent!!! Service is outstanding!!! The best grits I have EVER had, so fresh and slightly spicy!!! Yum!!! Truly a wonderful experience!!! I will be back!!!

The food was absolutely amazing!! The staff and owner were the most kind and friendly people around! We found Carolina Coastal Cafe on our last day of our vacation which was sad because we would have been there every morning!! If you visit Southport anytime in the future please stop in and check them out! You won’t be sorry!! We will be stopping in again the next time we are in town!
