Falcone Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Food was amazing, staff was friendly and made you feel at home. Definitely worth the money. Food had that real home cooking flavor.

My wife and I finally checked out Falcone’s this weekend after a neighbor told us about it. Honestly? I wish we hadn’t bothered.

We walked in and were greeted nicely, and our server, Myrah, was awesome, super friendly, patient, and really tried to make the best of things. Unfortunately, everything else about the night went downhill fast.

The place was nearly empty, but somehow we waited forever for our food. Myrah apologized a few times and even brought us extra bread (which ended up being the best thing we ate all night). By the time our meals finally showed up, we were starving , and that made it even more frustrating when the food turned out to be terrible.

My chicken piccata was dry and bland, like it had been sitting in the kitchen for way too long. My wife’s spaghetti and meatballs were barely warm and clumped together. For what they charge, we expected something way better than this.

And just when I thought the night couldn’t get worse, one of the chairs literally came apart when I stood up. Not wobbly , actually fell apart. That about summed up the whole experience: falling apart and not worth the money.

The only saving grace was Myrah, who handled everything with a smile even though it was clearly out of her hands. But great service can’t make up for bad food, long waits, and a place that feels like it’s been neglected. Definitely won’t be coming back.

The spaghetti tasted exactly like bad leftover elementary school spaghetti. The chicken on the buffalo pizza was hard. Ordered a Ceasar salad they gave a house salad with ranch. No dressing for the other salad. The calamari was almost raw had a fishy smell. The cake was unbearable. This was ordered through door dash so this is based strictly on food alone. They might serve a good water but I didn't order anything to drink so I wouldn't know.

The food was great, with huge portions. We took lots of leftovers home with us. Our server Kitty was super. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We ordered take out from here since it was 4 mins from the hotel we were staying at and got the Sicilian pizza and the Philly cheese steak pizza. My boyfriend said the Sicilian pizza was pretty good but the other one was just kinda sad and not good. Crust was kinda soggy and we asked for no mushrooms but still found some on the pizza. Over all I wouldn't waste my money getting pizza from there again when there are many other options around.

Wow! Just wow! Down here visiting family. Stopped on here for dinner. The food was insanely amazing! I say that for taste not portion size .. which was way too much. Authentic and delicious!! And you absolutely have to order the garlic knots! Owned by a family and great service was the cherry on top!!

I was looking for a quiet, peaceful, delicious dinner. I needed time to regroup after a very tough week. Falcons provided that and more. Jorge was an amazing serve. He was very polite and kind and allowed me the time I needed to decide. Everything from the mozzarella planks, to the lasagna, to the stuffed cannoli, was absolutely delicious. I was allowed the perfect amount of time to enjoy the different courses instead of having to rush. This was the first time that I have ever visited this establishment. Although I will absolutely be back. If you’re ever in Southport/Oak Island, try Falcone’s.

Absolutely great food. We ordered three different items: stromboli, antipasto salad, and gnocchi with meatballs and pesto sauce.
The servings were very large and everything had exceptional flavor.
This was the second time we had eaten here and it has not changed for food quality and flavor.
If you are looking for some authentic Italian food, give Falcone Restaurant a try.

Best pizza around, nice balanced sauce and great crust flavor.

My wife and I have been looking for a new favorite pizza place close to Shallotte area.
Very nice place. Very friendly staff. Very good pizza. The owner prepared the pizza himself.
Our server was very nice and did an excellent job.
Pricing was reasonable for the area and quality of food.
We will definitely stop in again when we are in Southport in the office season.
