Ordered 2 pizzas for pickup. Walked in and an older woman was going over receipts and notified me she would be with me in just a minute. Well, roughly 7 minutes goes by and I am still standing at the register waiting to be called upon. SHE LEAVES the register after overlooking the receipts. The hostess sees me standing there as a family walks in, asks the family what they would like/where they would like to sit and I was completely ignored. This is not the first occurrence where the customer service has been an absolute disgrace. Ten minutes goes by and I walk out the store without my order because I was completely ignored. I do not recommend if you enjoy absolute terrible customer service.

We called in our order for two large cheese pizza's to go on a busy Friday night. We waited ten minutes past our pick up time but it turned out to be an interesting learning experience. While we waited, we at sat their bar and reviewed their menu which looked great. I noticed their wine pours were very generous along with a good selection of various wines that were very reasonably priced. We saw friends finishing up their meals that they both really enjoyed in the well appointed and decorated in house dining side of the restaurant so we stopped by their table to catch up. Although the pizza side of the restaurant was very busy, it did not interfere with the conversations going on at the bar. The interior dining room is almost completely walled off from both the bar, and the pizza and meal pickup area which is very well designed because your able to have a conversation at diner, and not even be aware of the pizza and takeout meal pickup or the bar area at all. Mr. Falcone (Owner) was polite to speak with in the pick up area while also being very efficient at managing all the different activities in concert which really helped move their takeout business out the door quickly. We got home, and the pizza tasted very good. So although, it was only a pizza pickup this time, based on what we were told, Falcone's is a great place to dine as well as an outstanding place to have a glass of wine, while eating one of their delicious appetizers over some stimulating or relaxing conversation. While at this point we can only recommend their pizza ourselves, we will revisit for a full meal dining experience and update this review.

We've visited twice & it was phenomenal! They had both gluten free & vegan options. The food is delicious and the portions allow for a takeout meal of great leftovers. We had a reservation and the service was very genuine & hospitable. We hope to visit again!Vegetarian options: Salads, vegan spaghetti with vegan tomato sauceDietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta and pizza

Ordered a veggie pizza. First attempt, they totally made the wrong pizza. The remade it as ordered.....a veggie pizza. We eventually did get our veggie pizza. The veggies were absolutely raw and the sauce bland. Honestly, never had a pizza I couldn't eat but this one fit the bill. Such a a waste of calories. Ended up leaving it and going home to make a sandwich. So disappointed

This place confuses me. I go in usually about 45 minutes before they close and it seems they are so focused on closing up that they don't notice me. Had to find someone to take my order. Then it took 50 minutes to get my pizza. Then I couldn't hardly get them to take my payment. Took my pizza home and at there. They have no focus on the customer.

My wife and I, though we are watching what we eat, love Italian food, Falcone Italian Restaurant hit the mark....bullseye ?. My wife had angel hair spaghetti with meat sauce. I tasted it for myself because I knew she wouldn't finish it; the meat sauce was seasoned pretty well: I did add a little salt; but the flavor was bold but not overpowering. I make my own spaghetti sauce from Roma tomatoes. Their sauce is a fresh made sauce, delicious!I had the lasagna. Huge portions on both dishes. This 5 x 5 inch square of lasagna was more than I could eat. When I cut into it it was firm. The lasagna was a simple layered recipe: pasta, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese and their meat sauce (could not tell if it was sausage, beef or mixture of the two); but there was plenty of meat in this lasagna. It was one of the best lasagna I've tasted to date. The bread was homemade fresh baked. I ate a half a loaf... yep, you guessed it..There goes the diet. ? We'll call it a cheat day. My only complaint is, it would have been a little better for us had it been seasoned with garlic butter or given garlic butter on the side. We didn't ask for any, so we may be to blame. Our hostess smiled and seated us; and our waitress was delightful, cheery, and very helpful (it was only her 2nd day).I downgraded the atmosphere a little because the acoustics in the place is built for an acoustic guitar and singer without a microphone. It's very loud. People are very loud, lol. Also, they had a picture of Dean Martin, those of you 50 or older will recognize the name, so I expected to hear, Dream Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr and the like. Instead, it was a mixture of 80's and 90's music coming from the pizzeria side that could barely be heard from all the noise in the dining room. With that said, it doesn't retract from the wonderful service and fantastic food! I only mention so that maybe the owners might take notice and see if there is a way to dampen the sound in the room and maybe play some romantic music in the dining room.I recommend this place. As always go to this place enjoy their wonderful food. Keep these Ma & Pa places alive! They are truly the best places to eat! Corporate restaurants have their place; but, in my opinion, they don't compare. Peace ya'll. ✌️

Great food, but either an overworked staff or lack of help in Biden's America, made my service experience less than expected. Too bad... . I shall try again, maybe.

I have tried all the pizza places in the Oak Island/southport area since moving here two years ago. Had a slice from Falcones today and it is the best pizza I’ve had in the Wilmington area hands down. This pizza is just as good as my favorite spots back home in New Jersey and NYC. Light thin crust, flavorful sauce, perfectly cooked- and this was a reheated slice. Can’t wait to try a pie to go and their Italian sandwich looks amazing too. Also ordered the penne vodka to go and it is perfect and plenty for leftovers. Just wish they delivered to OKI!
