Really enjoyed the Unicorn platter. The view was wonderful, just make sure to go early as they get BUSY!
We decided to try for an early dinner at Frying Pan today. Our choices were fantail shrimp scallops wrapped in bacon fish bay scallops crab cake and it was delicious 😋 They were packed we were taken to a table right away. The server was awesome..If you haven't been you should.
Had a great time eating great food! The service was amazing as well thanks to Madyson! Highly recommend!
This restaurant has an amazing view of the sound from the dining room. The restaurant is on pilings so you do have to climb stairs to enter the building, but there is an elevator available. The food, service, and experience were completely amazing! Would definitely recommend!
The absolute best experience!!!! The food was incredible and our server, Robin, was incredible!!!!! The best server I’ve ever had!!!!! Thank you for hiring amazing and kind people
First time dining here and so glad my wife and I chose this place. The view from the outside seating is worth dealing with the heat. The food is stupid good and the staff is so friendly and on top of it. (I think our waitresses name was Kyla and she was awesome!)

Well, everything was good until the shrimp and grits came out, and it looked like it came off the child's menu. I'm saying the portion was small. but it did taste good. Also, the fries were chewy. But the shrimp was awesome.
The view was wonderful, the service was good, the food was, well, not anywhere near good. We spent $110 for food I threw out next day.

Generous portions, great staff, and an outstanding view. We really have enjoyed the times we've gone there, and Craig is a wonderful guy, in and out of the restaurant. He really cares and gives back to his community in every possible way. An establishment truly worth supporting.

I ate here this weekend. On of the worst seafood meals I have ever eaten. Flounder was not fresh. To much breading on food. Great service. Not handicap friendly. Will never stop here again. A shame to have a restaurant like this in a port city like Southport.
Fantastic! The grouper po' boy was an absolute delight—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The fish was fresh, and the toppings, including lettuce, tomatoes, and hot sauce added on, all came together perfectly on a soft, toasted roll. Every bite was a taste of the coast!
As for the alligator bites, they were a unique treat! Perfectly fried, they were crispy and lightly blackened on the outside, with a juicy, tender texture on the inside. Paired with a flavorful dipping sauce, they had a mild, almost chicken-like taste with a slight kick.
If you're looking for a memorable, flavorful meal, the grouper po' boy and alligator bites combo is a winner.
