This place was a total lifeline for my fiancee and I when driving in to visit Southport. It seemed to be the only place serving good food at 9PM and boy did it deliver! We even came back the next day for lunch when we were walking through town and saw the sign for BBQ chicken tacos, which were one of the best things we ate all trip. For dinner we had pickle fries (which we ordered again the next day... so good), fish and chips, and a burger. All of it was delicious and our server Ella was great. The beer was cold and well-priced and the NA drinks are a very nice size. A very fun, cozy-enough atmosphere that offers a nice contrast to the myriad of waterfront dining options. They even have trivia on Wednesdays!

Best fried oysters I've ever had. I really think they shucked them fresh and cooked them right there. I'd like to say the same for the french fries which looked like they might have been cut fresh, but they came out very undercooked even though they were hot. I sat at the bar so I can't complain too much about service. Definitely seems to be a locals hang out which was nice considering it was on the main drag. I'll be back.

Another great lunch at MOB. Bar staff great. Hot oysters medley interesting. Chicken wings very good. This little spot has something for almost everyone and they rarely disappoint. Highly recommended for visitors and locals alike.

Sit at the bar and meet someone new!

Went here the other day for an early dinner. I love their BBQ Shrimp! We both ordered it and a side of buttery potatoes to share. The sauce is so good, esp with the crispy buttered garlic toast that comes with it! We savored every morsel!! Place is small and tables are close together, but not too loud at the time we went. Very friendly staff!! Highly recommend!

Ask the Market Price before ordering. I was expecting $ 35 to $ 40, instead it was $ 75. Way too high.

One of the best seafood experiences we’ve ever had 🤤 The portions were generous enough to leave us feeling completely satisfied, and everything felt super fresh and was absolutely delicious 😋

We will definitely be coming back to this spot the next time we visit the beach 🏝️🌞

My wife and I ate here twice on our overnight trip. The oysters are amazing, the lobster grilled cheese was impeccable. We had the surf and turf burger and that was OK. My wife raved about the crab dip. The bloody Mary shooter was great too. Definitely will be back
