After walking by several SP restaurants we selected Oliver’s for the view and table service. We didn’t realize the food and service would be superior as well. We decided on an inside seat but the outdoor seating looked nice as well.

Overall, our family had a wonderful experience! The food was outstanding and our server Cathy was amazing! We sat outside on one of the hottest days of the year, and Cathy made sure our party had plenty of water and ice. I would highly recommend Oliver’s for a great meal!

What an amazing restaurant! This was my first trip to Oliver’s and I had the Kalabash (all shrimp!) It was phenomenal! Cathy our server was incredible, attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. It was a very hot day and Cathy was very kind to bring me a cup of ice to freshen up my drink. You must try Oliver’s and ask for Cathy! 😊

We've come here dozens of times in the past but Olivers have decided to raise the prices when the tourists left and hit the locals with price increases with no explanation of why the increase. The food portions are now half the size as well as you can see evidence in the before and after picture I have posted.

This is the best restaurant in Southport. The chef is amazing with outstanding dishes such as maple pecan salmon over risotto and the bourbon bread pudding with home made salted caramel ice cream. The service is always great and Kimberly was no exception on our recent visit. In addition, Barbara at the front desk was so helpful and a charm to talk with about all kind of things including her devotion to adopt and care for senior doggies. This is always one of our highlights on our long journey at sea from Maryland to South Florida.

This is a cool spot on the river in Southport where you can see boats coming into/out of the marina as well as ships going into/out of port. The food was pricey for the quality and just ok at best which seems to be the trend with a lot of seafood places in NC beach towns. Unless they are frying it they just cant cook it quite right. Service was great and the outside seating was awesome. I would recommend this place for ambiance just don't expect to be blown away by the quality of food.

This has always been a great place that the wife and I have frequented often. Great staff, warm atmosphere, with a nice view. The food has always been pretty good. We've had brunches here, lunches, and so many dinners that I couldn't begin to count. Then they had a change in management, and things noticeably started slipping, with the food quality and cleanliness.
So, we stopped going. Luckily the old manager Pete is back and has righted the ship once again. We took an almost 8 month hiatus from here, but have returned with the high hope it stays on its current course to dining nirvana once again.
