Great first time experience. It had a cozy feel to it. We went there during the brunch hours and there was live, light music playing. The food was really good and tasted fresh. The service was exceptional even though we sat at the bar area. I would recommend making reservations prior to visiting though.

Love Ports of Call, but I have to say I was sooooo sad to hear Olivia no longer works there. She was always our waitress when we are in town and I was genuinely looking forward to seeing her this last visit. Olivia if you’re out there- we missed seeing your smiling face! I usually always get sangria there but was told they don’t have it for our last visit as well :( should be a staple on the menu. Food and atmosphere are wonderful- we always make sure to dine at least once while we are down.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner last year. I wish I had taken a photo of our plates. I had turkey. You can only have turkey or ham. There was a piece of dried turkey, mash, a vegetable and…they must have run out of cranberry sauce and gravy because it looked like they took a spoon, ran it through them, just to coat the spoon… then… ran it across the meal. Also, there were no rolls. No bread of any kind. It was pathetic.

Many times we walked past this place and today we decided to stop for lunch after reading the lunch special. Grilled cheese and soup! The grilled cheese was like nothing I have ever tasted.. it was an Italian version with parm, Mozzetta and Italian cold cuts. The soup choice was chicken & rice or crab bisque. We both had the sandwich, while my hubby had the bisque and I had the chicken. All was very delicious! Service was fantastic and the price was good, $34 for two with tax.

Nice restaurant. Disappointed in a few things but will return when in Southport. Brunch menu specials all sounded great but didn’t deliver. Old bay Bloody Mary good as well as mimosas. Shared avocado toast was mushy but ok. Not much avocado, bacon, or tomatoes. Crab Benedict and crab cake sandwich were disappointing. Heavily breaded crab . Chicken and waffles ok. Biggest issue was food was served cold throughout. We sent coffees back because they were served cold, redelivered cold again. Nice to have live music. Please try harder. Nice place.
