As a lifelong fan of Calabash style seafood (with deviled crab as my favorite) I tried the crab cake sandwich and potato salad. Fabulous! You're going to wait, but it's worth it. And this is waterfront, so enjoy the scenery while you wait for a table. With the alcohol, not as kid-friendly as it could be, but not terrible either. Would be great if they could figure out a takeout process. Friendly fast service. Delicious food. Beautiful setting. Will be back!
I wanted to love this place so badly, hearing so much about it all these years. Great setting but the food was such a disappointment and very overrated, in my opinion. Way too much filler in the crab cakes, and why are they breaded? Mine were overcooked, as well.
Conch fritters had a 95-5 filler/breading to conch meat ratio. Grouper salad was decent, but lacked flavor.
