0 out of 10, would NOT recommend. This is a public establishment and they have a sign stating service dogs must to pre-approved. That is against ADA law. I saw the owner in a review claim they are a private club. There is no sign stating they are private nor do they have someone at the door checking membership. This place is open to the public, therefore they cannot deny access. What is legal is to be kicked if the service dog is causing problems, using the bathroom on the floor, stealing food, attacking people, jumping on the counter, etc. I walked in with my service dog...there was food all over the ground, the bartender was on the client side of the bar chatting with a friend, we were not asked about our membership (per the claim in a review response I just saw) and a very simple drink (mojito) could not be made. We left as the environment was not exactly inviting and we could not get a very simple drink. I would not suggest this place to anyone. I stand behind not allowing pets. To have a sign stating you need pre-approval for a service dog is insanely inappropriate and shows little knowledge of ADA laws. If you want to be a private establishment, great, your right...be one and limit entrance to ALL public (not just people with service dogs) and require people to show proof of membership. And make sure you clean up the broken bottles in the grass right outside your pub. The glass and bottles are only near this establishment, not the rest of the parking lot.

Really nice local bar vibe. Friendly atmosphere comfortable surroundings. They no longer serve food but you can get food from the Italian place next door and you are welcome to bring it there to eat with your drinks.

Guinness on tap and the bartenders know the correct way to pour a proper pint. Love this place.

Nice place. Don't allow dogs on the porch even though. The bartender definitely knows her regulars. Might take 3-5 mins waiting to get their attention sitting at the bar. 10-15 if you're at a table/booth. Nive people though!!!!

My new favorite joint for a beer or bourbon, I don't know how they keep the prices so low but keep it up! Daily drink specials are lit 🔥

No food which I think is smart, you can bring whatever you want and hang out outside or Doordash something to yourself. I also love picking the songs on my phone 📱

If you're staying at the Wingate by Wyndham hotel in Southport, I recommend walking over and getting a cold one. They're open from 2-2, how cool is that? 😎

Terrible pub, not a place for food at all. The google maps has it listed that this place has dining, and food in the about section, where one would share the ups and downs of a biz. Very drunk people trying to fight with others is ignored by the bartenders, and someone almost stole my purse while I was away from my full drink at the bar. Don't go here, there's no sensible reason anyone should.
NOTICE how there is a "which dishes do you recommend?" on this forum, notice also how it says the place serves dishes of food. Seems like they want business but are willing to lie, cheat and steal to get it. Do not go here!
It is also ILLEGAL to have HAPPY HOUR DRINKS in NC, but they have that posted as well. WHAT A BUNCH OF LIARS!
