Do not recommend this place for hibachi. It’s edible but I think the steak has chewing gum inside of it. Be prepared to chew and chew and chew

Two years ago, my boyfriend and I went here and the atmosphere was wonderful! We stayed and had drinks and ate plenty of sushi. And it was delicious!

Just ordered takeout recently. When I went in to pick it up, I was greeted right at the door with a table that was baring entry. Weird.... aren't we done with the covid stuff? So, why the covid protocol??? I talked to the girl in the front and she was very nice. She handed me my order, and I left.

Upon getting in the car, I checked my order and it seemed to be right. So, I decided to try the spring rolls, which are my favorite! I took one bite and all I got was dough. There didn't seem to be anything else in the spring roll. And there was no taste or flavor to it.

I was extremely disappointed, not only with the service and the atmosphere that I was faced with when I entered the restaurant; but now the food as well!

I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Perhaps they have an employee shortage...I don't know. But the food tasted like it came out of a Walmart store. In fact, the Dollar General spring rolls at home were better tasting and larger for less money.... I threw the ones that I bought from Tengu out and went home and made those instead.

My husband and I are in love with the salmon hibachi! We can split one order because there is so much salmon in one plate. We do usually add extra rice to split when we do that though.
I hope that they can eventually open the dining room again. Right now it is to-go only. We’ve ordered from here at least 5 times and it’s always been delicious! It’s a little bit expensive for the hibachi but the portion is quite large for one person.

Sushi rolls were rolled so poorly they fell apart trying to pick them up with chopsticks or at all. So much wasabi in the container that half the roll was smeared with and covered with wasabi making it inedible. Fish tasted expired and looked suspicious. Don’t recommend…

Very over priced and the food wasn't that good. I don't recommend at all. 2 stars for the meat which wasn't bad. I got the teriyaki steak and chicken. Couldn't eat the chicken but the steak was alright. Won't go again

Great Japanese food, but very slow. I have waited about an hour so far. Food was good when it was made. Tried them again, but the website gave me options that we didn't receive. I don't need extra sauce that we won't use.

Tengu switched to take-out only during covid and kept it that way, which is good for them since it keeps costs low but it's hard to get take-out hibachi and it be exactly like if you were dining in. The sushi is ok, but they make huge rolls, so it's worth the money.

First off, we are from out of town. We found them online and went by the menu. Got there and prices were all higher than on the web menu. Called and told them I wanted crunchy roll. He recommended the yummy roll. Got 2 of them and they were double price of what I wanted. Food was horrible. Soup tastes like pure grease, crab meat tasted like it was tuna out of a can. No seasoning on anything. No prices given over phone. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
