My husband and I live on Bald Head Island and will take the ferry and go into Southport just to get Thai Peppers! Absolutely our favorite restaurant!!!
We had the Gyoza Dumplings as our appetizer. They were the smallest dumplings we have ever seen. They weren't terrible but they weren't great either. Our main course was the Pad Thai and I pray there's better out there. Small and bland shrimp and scallops, along with dry pork. And the price we paid was way more than we expected with the amount of food we received.
Worse Thai food ever. Pad Thai was dry and absolutely void of flavor. Shrimp and scallops were way too small to be local. A big disappointment. I won’t be back.
This was not my favorite place to eat. The food wasn't as tasteful as I was hoping for. I feel they prob. were low on staff because of covid. I would say if you like Thai food, give it a try.
I dint recommend this place. I have been here like 3 times and it is bad. Their customer service is amazing but their food isn’t nice. Every time my plate, and others plates of food have smelled like dog. I don’t know about anyone else but it’s weird. Their service is perfect but the food is alright.
Thai coffee to die for. Food always great
Fried rice was great! Dumplings were pretty good. They are only doing to go right now and you order at the door, it is a little hard to hear the lady but she was very friendly. Will be back once I come back into town.
Have loved them for over 15 years. You’ll always be greeted with a warm smile and their staff are the nicest people. Take time to admire their beautiful multitude of plants and the ever changing but always exciting accessories the main lady wears! They may even reward you with a beautiful flower from their heart.Must haves every visit: veggie egg rolls (spring rolls) and cashew chicken. Add their sweet and spicy sauce to any and everything, it is the best! One of our favorite local places to always support!
Ordered the beef salad. Beef appears to be steamed or boiled, not grilled. Not very good. Made me not want to try other items.
Not my cup of tea. In the pic you would see a dish called larb. I was surprised when I ordered it they didn’t ask me what spicy level I want and now I know why. They basically have one level to serve the customers around here. This is definitely not how larb is made in Thai land but I totally get it since it’s in an area it’s in.

Great food and outside dining was great ?
Used to be excellent. Not now. Had Thai Beef Salad and was sick for 2 days. Pad Thai was awfulaW
My girlfriend and I was on day trip to southport to do some shopping and just hanging out enjoying the great sunny day. We have been to southport numerous times but never stopped here to eat. My girlfriend is not the most adventurous when it comes to food, so I ordered chicken pad thai and chicken wings.. we shared the meal because it was more then enough for the two of us. And she loved it and said that thai pepper is definitely on our next day trip
Quality of food with detail and super friendly prompt service.
The food was excellent! We had tofu curry and pad Thai - some of the best I’ve ever had. It looked like they were still only doing take out, but prep was fast. It was the perfect meal to enjoy back at the hotel on a rainy night.
