The Thai Peppers

We were excited to try it since we loved the downtown Southport location that closed several years back. Unfortunately this place lost a lot in the move. The food was extremely bland including the ginger salad, spring rolls and garlic chicken. Perhaps they are working the kinks out, but it was really below even average.

I’m so glad it’s back. But the red curry, the portion was not big at all and had barely any soup in it.

A great place for Thai takeout! The crab rangoon, yellow curry, ginger chicken, and Thai fried rice were delicious! Portion sizes are big and you get a lot of protein! Giving 4 stars because I had to find their menu and phone # on Facebook. They just need to update their Google info 🙂

Checked out The Thai Peppers during their soft opening and really glad we did! The menu is small for now, but the food was good and the portions were large. The staff were kind and welcoming. Inside is small but cutely decorated. We ordered takeout and enjoyed it at home. Definitely nice to have another solid takeout option in Southport.

Just tried The Thai Peppers during their soft opening and really enjoyed it. The menu is limited for now, but the food was very good and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered the pad see ew and pad kee mow—both were flavorful and satisfying. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The space is small with just a few tables inside, but it has a cozy, inviting feel. We did takeout this time and everything traveled well. Looking forward to coming back as they expand the menu!

Had cashew chicken. Portion was large and very good. They were very pleasant. A bit unorganized but they have only been open a few days. Did take out.

today I wandered around Southport for the first time. I was sure I wanted seafood for lunch. as soon as I read the posted (outside) menu I knew this was my choice. ☆☆☆☆☆ so completely happy I got my food from them. The BEST steamed dumplings I've ever had!!! Also I had the sushi shimi combo. ☆very good. so we can't dine in yet but I will say my food was beautifully prepared. the food looked as great as it tasted. I will definately be going back. 🍽🥢⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We love their sushi and their pineapple fried rice. We especially love their service .. always friendly and welcoming..

👀 Thai Peppers is making sushi again!! 🍣 I have to take a moment to shout this place out. I have been missing their sushi for the longest time, and remember growing up here how they always had a fantastic sushi chef, then all of a sudden and I’m not sure why, but they stopped making sushi. I heard from the grape vine that they were back at it making sushi and immediately became ecstatic! ❤️ What better time than now to help support our local restaurants. I have to tell you their set-up and level of customer service was phenomenal. Easy order process over the phone, responsive, and accurate estimate on the length of time it would take to get ready. It’s pick up only, as I’m sure you can understand, but they couldn’t have made a better process. As you walk up they have a table set up by the front door with a huge bottle of hand sanitizer. The lady I picked it up from had the most pleasant demeanor and was wearing a sneeze guard and a mask! 😯😷 the door was even draped with a plastic protection in front of the table. She even provided a quality mask free of charge in a small plastic baggie, that was both a delight and surprise! Cold food was cold and hot foot was hot, even when I brought it home 20 minutes away to enjoy 😉 Got my fix, that’s for sure, and has me craving more!! Please tip, not required, but I’m sure it’s definitely appreciated!! ❤️❤️❤️ Such a lovely experience, they deserve your business and patronage!
