The food is amazing! Closest thing I’ve found in NC to. Melvin’s Pool Room burger. It gets very busy and you can definitely get overlooked in line. One of the staff even thought I skipped the line although I had been waiting close to 30 minutes. I know he didn’t see me but it was a bit disappointing for him to just assume that. Will definitely still go back and highly recommend trying this place while in town! Just be mindful it can get crowded and the folks working may not notice you’ve been waiting to be served.

This place use to be THE TOLLEY STOP it’s now called SOUTHPORT HOTDOG COMPANY and the food and prices have changed , in particular the food , we ate there yesterday and it was terrible and the cleanliness looked like it was starting to change also . bread was dry and over steamed and the chili tasted like it days old , we would not recommend this place anymore
