Yummy! We've passed by several times but always seem to be in a hurry. We finally took time to try the place and really enjoyed our meals. Good portion sizes, very tasy and reasonable prices. It is a small place on the backside of a store, so ? look for it. Menu on a chalkboard. Was surprised at the variety they offered. My husband got pork chops, and they were huge. Stopped in while passing through the area. Surprisingly quick service, good portions, and the actually the best sweet potato casserole I have ever eaten. Fried pork chops were very good also.
Decent baked ham, mashed potatoes, no gravy, cooked apples, though the cooked apples were diced about a quarter inch square, nothing I've never ran into before; live and learn.
The corn bread is white corn, not sweetened, and the spread was not butter, and the bread was delivered only slightly warmer than the mountain breeze that caught the wind, and the spread was not able to melt, so the bread ended up being dry.
