Main Street Pizzeria & Taphouse

So I recently moved to Sparta and thought I would try this pizzeria place out. And I have to say after trying a lot of different franchise pizzas and other mom and pop places throughout my life. This is one of my favorite pizzas I’ve ever eaten. The price is amazing for what you get. The cheese is really delicious. I’ve been back here several times. And tried a few different Pizza toppings, and all of them have been amazing.

The only critique I would have is I wish they would do something with their crust. It’s just basic crust with no flavoring to it. I’m not sure if they have any that they can put on it for you, but after several visits, it’s always been the same. But I highly recommend that if you’re near Sparta and you love pizza, you owe it to yourself to try this place.

I arrived and stood at the sign, "please wait to be seated" for 10 min while servers were talking up front, ignoring me. This was around 4 PM when there were only a handful of people at the bar. Then I was seated, given a menu, and ignored. People were seated after me and their orders were taken. Finally, after waving at servers one came to take my order, a beer and after my beer was drunk, I'd like a takeout pizza. Apparently, the beer and the pizza were ordered simultaneously. I found out after I finished the beer that the pizza was in the kitchen cooling for 20 min. No reason for me to return.

What a joke. I have eaten here a few times on lunch and had no issues. Have been craving their spicy honey wings for weeks now. Came in on Saturday evening around 5:10. Was seated quickly. My wife had never been so we looked over the menu for a few before ordering. We ordered without incident. A while later my wife’s wrap, my side of fries, our appetizer of pickle fries, as well as my 2 year olds personal pan pizza comes out(all of which were good I will say). They had time to completely eat and we were still waiting for my wings (an order of 12). Other tables around us that came in later were eating their larger orders of wings while mine were still no where to be found, along with our waitress. She finally comes back around 45-50 minutes after initially ordering our food and I ask for the bill and being i never got my wings I asked for them to be removed from our bill. She never offered to check on my wings she simply brought my bill with no explanation on my food. So now I’m headed to a drive thru so I can eat before my family goes back the hour drive it took to get here. What a let down. Will not waste my time, money, and gas to come back

We met the owner accidentally, and he recommended the authentic Cuban sandwich. It was a great choice.
If you are a motorcycle rider, and need to stop in Sparta, this is the best place to eat.

Food and service is great in the restaurant. Today though, called a dozen times to place a pickup order - no answer. And you can't customize online order. Went somewhere else in town :\

This place has the best food, however, three times now I have tried to call this place to place a to go order at least 30 minutes before the kitchen closes and no one will pick up the phone to take an order. I wasn't able to place an order online either. Terrible customer service for someone who just wants to pick up food and take it home to eat!!!!! Do better pizzeria! We always have to wait to be seated when we go there also. People standing looking at you like what are you doing here! DRIVES ME INSANE!
