We visited this Denny’s in forest city. It was under staffed we waited a hour and and a half for service and food… Unfortunately we will not be back… O the Food … the pancakes where the only thing cooked to order!

Food ok as usual. Service was the worst I have ever experienced. Restaurant had 6 or 7 tables occupied at 11am. Multiple servers. 37 minutes to take order, skipped over many times, beverages took an extra 20 minutes, order had to be taken multiple times, order came out wrong. Had to wait for new order. 2 hour long breakfast. Extremely poor service.

My order was completely wrong they gave me a totally different burger than what I ordered and the meat was raw the bun was so soggy 🤢 I paid way too much for my food to have been thrown in the trash because I couldn't eat it!

I paid $20 for the fish meal with broccoli and whole grain rice. I received overcooked fish with a slight burnt flavor, dry and tasteless whole grain rice, and corn, not broccoli that I ordered. I am very disappointed with Dennys. It seems like the cook doesn't take pride and / or know what they're doing. Maybe he/she just needs better training. And, the wait staff don't care either. I was a waitress for 15 years. This plate should not have gone out the door it should have been corrected/replaced. I had great service from my dasher, though.

Our Denny's in Hendersonville is kinda bad but this one in Forest City is great. You could tell it was a good place just based on the amount of people there. The food was perfect and the server was wonderful.

Nearly an hour before she took our drink order, I tried to be patient as she was the only waitress I saw working, but I can't help but think if she had spent less time complaining about the rush of ppl who had apparently left prior to my arrival that she could have definitely served us quicker!

Several times over the past 25 years, my wife and I would dine at this Denny's in Spindale, hoping it was much better food and service since changing supervision, and to our surprise, it was no better and many times worse. When ordering food, it may come to you undercooked or overcooked. When you make your order, you may not get the dish you ordered, it will be completely different. Even grits would be thick, old, and sometimes hardened, or they may be so thin that they look like water. And when you say something about your dish, I didn't order pancakes and sausage. I ordered eggs, grits, and bacon, then the manager tried to argue with me and tried their best to charge me for both the correct and the wrong dish. Will not admit a dish mix-up with another diner, nor will the waitress admit their mistake. And that's after you look at the dish, don't touch it, and send it back. Again, for the past 25 years, this has been our experience. However, 30 years ago, Denny's in Spindale was one of the number 1 places to dine, morning, lunch, and evening. We haven't dared to step foot in this Denny's for the past 3 years. But according to some family members and friends, it still hasn't gotten any better.
