This is a butcher shop that also servers food. My husband and I stopped here on the way out of Carvers Creek State Park. I had the brisket tacos and he had the bbq sandwich. Both of which were loaded with meat.The brisket tacos were the best as the bbq seemed dry. Neither items were "hot" they were both just warm.They have a small seating area which we sat at and watched the Girl Scouts sell cookies.
Wonderful spot for lunch or takeout. Located just off Lillington Highway, this is a gem of a place. Service is on point, for BBQ novices (like me) the staff answers all your questions. The ambiance is southern hospitality at its finest. The food is what people come for. All of the meats are cooked that day and served until they run out. The sides are all great - I love the Mac and cheese and Texas caviar.
