Love this place, my friend and I were trying to find a coffee shop that I could bring my dog to and we stumbled upon Bill and Bobs. This place has a nice size patio area and water bowl for pups. The employees were so lovely and welcoming. I was able to bring my pup inside for a pup cup and to order and he even got a couple extra treats. Would highly recommend this place! ❤️
Great Aa meeting
This is a little hidden gem and I just love the coffee here. I always come in late morning on the weekends and it can get busy, but the coffee is absolutely worth the wait. If you like good coffee and having a nice little chat with your barista, who also gives great recommendations if you have one of those days where you cannot decide, this is the perfect place for you. They have outdoor seating too and more seating in the back if you like it a bit cooler and quieter.
Had my first Cafe con Leche here and it was absolutely delicious. The barista on Saturday morning was knowledgeable and friendly. Service was fast. Highly recommend the Cinnamon Crunch muffin as well. Atmosphere was quiet and friendly. We will be back!
I hesitate to write this because I really admire this shop for the fact that they give back to the AA community. My brother had recommended it after going in and meeting the owner. Unfortunately, they were having a rough morning when I went. Out of coffee lids (no big deal, but haven’t seen this before at a coffee shop), girl taking orders was being trained I think by the barista, who was kinda gruff and I could hear her complaining that the owner never let them close even in “a ****ing storm” haha so that was awkward. It was like when someone kinda hates their job and you can feel it. I thought the girl who took my order was a lovely person though, and was clearly overwhelmed. I felt so bad for her. I waited a long time in line and then waited about 10 min for my latte so I went and asked about it and it had been forgotten. Again, I get it. Things happen. The nail in the coffin was the coffee sadly. My latte tasted like bitter drip coffee with burnt foamy milk in it. :/ to be fair, I am a coffee snob. I make my own lattes every morning. I have high standards but I think it’s fair in this economy, and I wish I’d gone to another shop that gives latte art and- sorry but real lattes for the same price. I am glad the money goes to a good cause. Now, again- I think she was being trained so I get learning, but the coffee itself was clearly not of the highest quality. If I used the beans I have at home, I couldn’t make them taste that burnt and bitter, and I’ve pulled bad shots with them. Oh, also- the barista stopped making drinks to go over and talk to a patron about his dog. That’s while I was waiting on my forgotten drink…
I really hated to post this but if you’re a coffee lover who frequents the charlotte area coffee scene, this one’s… not quite on that level. 💗
Great coffee! I had an oat milk latte with toasted marshmallow and my husband had a pour over. Both fantastic! The place looks small from the outside but the inside has a really cute and cozy place to enjoy your coffee.
A pretty small place but clean and the barista was friendly. I received my drink half empty and the drink itself was bitter and didn't really taste like anything. The price was low, though.
The pictures are very misleading, there was barely any seating inside. The Chai Latte tasted not like chai as well. Do not waste your time here.
Hidden gem. Great coffee.
Great spot for coffee, a pastry and working remotely. Nice spacious room in the back so bring your laptop and get your work done while you enjoy a latte and a muffin.

I'm sorry but how can you serve hot coffee without having a non-toxic stirrer?
I asked for a stirrer to mix the sugar in my hot coffee
The lady said all she has to offer me is a plastic straw.
I asked for a metal spoon at least that clearly they do have over there but she refused.
Come on people it's 2025
You are selling an espresso shot and a latte for almost $9
Please get some wood or metal stirrer so we don't have to poison ourselves when we mixed the coffee you make
Had a good experience here doing work!
Coffee was great and very clean and a nice atmosphere. I never write reviews but the lady who took my order was honestly pretty rude, judged my friend for what she ordered and then rudely corrected me on what i should order. just didn’t like the way she spoke to us, she was a older lady with glasses.
Always amazing customer service and a great cup of coffee! Very cool atmosphere if needing a quiet place to work or study. Plenty of outlets and tables available.
This is a really great coffee shop. From the outside it just looks like a normal shop, but inside it’s so much more. It was empty when we visited yesterday. There was a gentlemen who was at the counter. As soon as he started talking I just knew he was from NY. I explained I was from there as well and we just started chatting. We placed our order and then the gentleman (Albert) the owner was preparing our order and gave us the story.
He bought the coffee shop 2 years ago and it’s a AA/Al-Anon meeting place at night. He said they get so many people and the whole back room is dedicated to the cause. The coffee shop puts the money back into shop to keep it running for the meetings. I could have talked to him all day about it as it was quite interesting. He also said he hires people from the meetings to help run the coffee shop!
Anyways, if you want to be a part of this wonderful cause, visit this shop. The coffee was amazing and we shared a piece of carrot cake which was delish. Pricing was fair for a coffee shop!
Thanks Albert for being kind to us today and telling your story!
