Hands down the best bar in the Matthews area. Awesome patio, amazing staff, affordable drinks, and the food is outstanding. The wings in particular are great.

Everyone welcome like family. I grew up in Charlotte. Spoons had the best burgers, The Penquin had great burgers too. Well, I had a cheeseburger last week at The Small Bar. It was absolutely the best burger I've ever had! Service was great. Bar selections were awesome. Front door parking.

Not even close to buzzed and I saw people drunk and they cut me off. Tara is the worst bartender ever. She can't even judge people. She knew I was getting an Uber. She just judged me by the way I look. I walked out like a sober person and went to 3 other bars and no problems. They will cut you off after having a few beers. I have never been treated like that in my life. I was looking for a new place and it's definitely not the spot. She is probably a liberal and hates everyone. The owner needs to get in contact with me. I will never go back.

My memory keeps telling me how noisy it was. My burger was very good; the fries were great; and Jessica was a really good hostess. But ... the acoustics make for a very loud environment. It was difficult to have a conversation because of the noise level. And there was live music, which made it even noisier. Oh well.
