We placed an online catering order 1 week before needing said order to be picked up on Saturday March 29th at 10:30 am. Upon arrival the order was not even started and blame was put on another member of management. Final part of Togo order was done at 11:30 am. As a former loooong time employee of Cracker Barrel I find this very unacceptable. We were told there would be a refund due to the delay in our order. We only get 10% back but never even got a call to apologize for their mistake. Next time we will have to choose someone else for our catering.

Service was great, but the food was not. The quality has gone down immensely. The bacon literally disintegrated because it was that old. French toast bake was cold & hard. Only thing worth eating was the hashbrown casserole & the blueberry pancakes. Coffee was also burnt. Will be going to iHop next time.

Food was cold. I asked for my pintos to be heated and they microwaved them with my relish on top. They were then so hot and dry I couldn't eat them. Tried the onion petals, they were chewy. Won't be back at a cracker barrel for a LONG time.

This was the worst meal I ever received at Cracker Barrel - we did a pick up order - I had steak and it was burned to a black crisp on one side, they placed this side down on the to go plate of course, so they knew it was burned, they were out of baked potatoes- the mashed potatoes were not good at all. Very disappointed!

I would give a 5 star on food, but the biscuits have been not up to par lately. The biscuits are my primary reason for going as I am a biscuit snob and raised on my granny's biscuits who grew up in old Appalachia farm country. The past 2 times they were either burnt or under baked and had a weird texture and flavor. Other than that, the food was great.

The restaurant was freezing and we had to leave early to get warm in the car. The mobile phone app is way to complicated to use.

Took along time to get our meals; then one side of the table got theirs, other side received theirs 15 minutes later, by then the other side had to wait while we ate…..awkward for both sides. Grandson ordered pancakes, no syrup until he went and stood at the kitchen entrance to request it…..therefore his pancakes were cold. Husband ordered the Friday Fish meal, he had to request the hush puppies that were supposed to come with the meal; when he received them they were burnt and shriveled. I never received my biscuits. Waitress was not attentive.

We arrived at seven on a Thursday and they were out of the my top three choices. Then, the server came out and told me the chicken and dumplings looked so bad she couldn't serve it to me. I then ordered the meatloaf which was lukewarm in temperature. The server was just fine.

Coffee cold, toast burned and soak in butter, and pancakes felt plastic like or hard it was hard to cut... and overall all food was to grease which is not necessary... I regret not taking a picture!

Amazing service and environment. From the time we walked in until the time we left we felt welcomed, served, and like family. Everyone was so helpful and friendly we had some laughs and great times with the staff there. The food was delicious and came out promptly. They check on us several times and came over with refills when we were running low. The store was very well kept as well and friendly staff to help and make suggestions. This was such a blessed time.

For 10 years we have been coming to Cracker Barrel and most every time i order the grilled chicken tenders. For the past 6 months at our Statesville restaurant the chefs have absolutely burned the chicken meat. A little charring is expected, but they now are completely black on one side, which penetrates in about 1/8 inch and are crunchy! Staff just keeps saying its the marinade. There is no sugar in the marinade so that is not an excuse and why weren't they burnt the previous 9 years?! After last night's burnt offerings again , we have decided to take our business elsewhere. My wife use to love the tender roast beef, which is now gone from the menu, and the fried tenders, which sadly are no different than the frozen ones we bake in the oven at home. I hate to say it Cracker Barrel, but farwell and We hope you one day return to your quality we use to enjoy.
