Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I hate to say this, but it was awful. The food was horrible and even the Mac and cheese had different noodles. The biscuits were fantastic. They were yelling and screaming in the kitchen so loud. We almost felt like it was a horrible prank. The waitress was very nice.

The service and food are always good at this location. We love coming here. Sometimes it's just my sweet husband and I, and sometimes we bring the whole family. We are never disappointed.

We had a party of 8 and waited over an hour to be seated. They were not busy as it was 6:30 in the evening on a Wednesday night. That was a little frustrating, the waitress was prompt when we finally sat down and the food was fairly good. My husbands mashed potatoes were cold and the tea wayyyyy to sweet. Probably be a long time before we come back as the last 3 or 4 times we have been it's very slow service or cold food.

Even tho they were busy they were well staffed and wait was minimum. If you haven’t tried the country fried turkey with turkey gravy then u MUST if u like turkey. It is amazingly delicious! It is a seasonal so grab it before Dec 23- u will thank me later! Also Christmas decor was discounted! Love Cracker Barrel!

Always a pleasure eating here. I am away from home I enjoy coming here and getting a nice cooked meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Totally recommend the Steak and Eggs. Great large serving.

This was my first time at a cracker barrel. The staff were nice, but the food was not great. I'm not sure if it's something with the water but everything had an off taste. The biscuits and steamed broccoli were ok, and my mother seemed to enjoy her burger. She did, however find a bad tomato in her salad.
Besides the biscuits and broccoli, everything else I got was dry. I got the turnip greens and it was very dry and it just tasted off, like I mentioned, perhaps it is something to do with the water. Even though the broccoli was decent, it also had this weird flavor to it. I got the meatloaf, and it was kinda dry so I doused it in ketchup. I almost got halfway through and noticed it had two different shades of meat color in the middle, a pinkish tinge and a greyish-greenish tinge, and I lost my appetite. I usually clean my plate but I think this place has something wrong with their water or perhaps cracker barrel just isn't for me. Both of our meals were roughly $14 each, plus the salad. The staff were super nice, but the food just did not do it for me. I feel bad leaving this review but it just was not very good.

Overall the service was good. The food was good.
The only negative was the waitress was so slow to bring us anything we asked for, but other than that it was very good.
