I would give a 5 star on food, but the biscuits have been not up to par lately. The biscuits are my primary reason for going as I am a biscuit snob and raised on my granny's biscuits who grew up in old Appalachia farm country. The past 2 times they were either burnt or under baked and had a weird texture and flavor. Other than that, the food was great.
Took along time to get our meals; then one side of the table got theirs, other side received theirs 15 minutes later, by then the other side had to wait while we ate…..awkward for both sides. Grandson ordered pancakes, no syrup until he went and stood at the kitchen entrance to request it…..therefore his pancakes were cold. Husband ordered the Friday Fish meal, he had to request the hush puppies that were supposed to come with the meal; when he received them they were burnt...
Coffee cold, toast burned and soak in butter, and pancakes felt plastic like or hard it was hard to cut... and overall all food was to grease which is not necessary... I regret not taking a picture!
