Pretty much a goner now nobody ever goes in there I don't know how they are still open the owner is rude. Food is terrible and makes me question how they continue to cook and serve food when I never see anyone in there.

Dragon Golden has been consistently tasty for years. They don't have the largest menu you've ever seen, but what they offer is delicious and always tastes the same. Probably the best egg rolls I've ever eaten. Only open for takeout now unfortunately since Covid, and I miss their lunch buffet badly.

Our family has enjoyed the fabulous food at Dragon Golden for over 30 years. They maintain excellent quality and pricing, as well as warm and friendly service! We choose the drive to Statesville over going to closer Chinese restaurants because the food is far better than anywhere else. If you are thinking of trying Dragon Golden, then please give it a try. Old smell.. dusty panels on the wall is peeling it needs to be closed down or reopened in a better area. No one has eating in in years food not good can you believe it no shrimp rolls..

1st time eating here.Vegetable Hibachi had NO flavor.We only got 1 fork for the two of us. Egg rolls were...edible.We were given tons of "fried rice", which in reality was off-yellow rice with no scallions, carrots, or other vegetable additions. Bland.I can only say, if you're on that side of Statesville, then the food will do if you're hungry. Other than that I wouldn't recommend them for authentic Chinese food.They only have take out, no table service.

Love this place and the Cantonese chicken and pretty much everything else. Just really wish they would open the dining room and buffet again. So sad that the world is mostly take out and ya can't just sit down at a restaurant and eat anymore.
