Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Disaster! The guy taking my order sounded like he was drugged out! Sat there for over 30min waiting for my food, which is mediocre at best. Overpriced. Not worth the ridiculous wait. They won't last!

I wanted to go through the drive though but no one answered the intercom so I went inside to order. The gentleman who should be answering the intercom was hanging out with his friends playing on their phones. The waitress, cook and fry cook were working but there were 2 other employees just hanging out with their friends doing nothing. The restaurant was dirty and could use some cleaning.

Drive through was a 0! Read on! I’m so glad I did not read these reviews before I went. There is a lot of bad ones & some I understand. I went this Sunday and hubs and I went inside. There was only one person running the entire front of house.! She did it though! ? Name is Mary. I guess someone called out or just didn’t show up. We are a go w the flow chill people but it still didn’t take long to get our food and drinks were right away. I loved my fried pickles and jalapeno cheese steak. Could have used more or almost any cheese on it though. My hubs loved his double burger and it was big! Not like a McDonald’s double for sure! We will certainly go again. I sure hope I have Mary because some of these reviews scare me. Even w my great experience, I wonder what will happen when other people are working. Because while we were sitting there, there was other employees not helping our lady. I get it’s not your job, but maybe helping is just nice. Also, I seen an older man come in, straight from drive through w his receipt and he was still in there getting it figured out when we left. Meaning like 15 plus minutes at that point! Drive through, back of house, idk. Someone was dropping the ball! I mean he was the ONLY one in line! How do you screw that up??

Our service was a 5, but from what I seen from drive through …I couldn’t give a 5! Drive through was a 0! Poor man may not even know how to log in to do a review but on his behalf I’ll say wth was going on there. I’m mad for him.

Terrible!! Nasty food and Terrible service. Nothing as advertised. I will never be going back!!!

It's a fun little place. Definitely a different type of fast food. You should try it.

I've long enjoyed this chain. Back when they're called Andy's on the other side of the state. I'm a local so expectations were high.

Overall the food is good.

What bothers me is the cleanliness of this franchise, and the lack of enthusiasm. I'm sorry it's a brand and I expect the same, give or take, across the board.

I think this starts with management. The handful of times I've been in to this location it seems more of a hassle then a service paid for.

I will not be coming here routinely until changes are made

Stop today for the first first time and the food was amazing! had gravy fries too, I'm from NJ no places here have them I thanked the cook they were delicious. Mary our server knew so much about this place & we left making a new friend. People need to go there try it out, try gravy fries & tell cook the jersey girl sent you. Also their floats are amazing too??

This one here is a special place. We were traveling from PA to SC for a family wedding, the staff there was extraordinary to say the least. Everyone was so kind and friendly, our food only took a few moments to prepare and was served hot and delicious. Such a delightful spot for good food and peaceful atmosphere. We loved everything about this restaurant and will not hesitate to revisit again.

Edit* (Because I originally wrote this while still in the drive-through) Don't go through the drive if you don't have 28 minutes to spare. I got two meals and then tots because they were out of fries and were cold. The burger was too dry, and the cheese steak was mushy. Just save yourself the money/time and go somewhere else.
