I’ve tried iHOP several times in Dubai, but this was my first time trying it in Canada! I’d been waiting for a halal menu, and finally got to try it last Sunday for breakfast with my group around 10:30 am.
We ordered the Egg Benedict Spicy Polano, Avocado Toast, Big Steak Omelette, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Vanilla Creamy Cold Foam Brew, Coffee, and Chicken Fajita Omelette.
It's a great spot with plenty of options. Our server, Jai, was very friendly and prompt, and the order was taken with perfect accuracy something that often gets messed up at other places when we go out as a large group!

The second we walked in the waitress had a face of thunder, looked us up and down with out saying anything as my friend asked for a table- pointed to a table and put menus down then walked off. After another waitress appeared same dull look on her face- not a friendly inviting waitress you see everywhere else. Asked what drinks we wanted then went off to get them. When she came back she was on the phone via beats earphones arranging her evening events placing all the drinks in front of one person to then move about the table where they belonged. The table was dirty and sticky, the menus were sticky and covered in dried food, the floor had crayons, food and paper straw covers all about- there were 3 members and not one was cleaning whilst we were the only people there. After being there for 10 minutes and seeing all the above we left as I refused to eat and allow my family to eat in such a filthy environment. It was the most disgusting place I have ever been unfortunate enough to enter. Don’t go there and waste your time money or your health.

The food was good, we ate it all. But what bothered me was that the tip was included. I know places when it’s more than 6 they automatically add it, but it was 4 of us. We ordered a meal and a drink each. Just a quick lunch. The server quickly said ‘sign and the tip is there’ charged 18%, he lost out a bit, because we tend to leave 20%. Can it be that people don’t tip or give leave a small amount, and he decided to include it in the total. It didnt say suggested, it was added.

When we arrived there were only a handful of people there. We were seated, and only then was the table cleaned. We ordered, and after waiting close to an hour and watching people seated after us get their food, I had to approach the hostess as our waitress had not been by our table. My daughter in law and I had ordered the same thing, and while her whole order arrived about 15 minutes after my complaint, my son and I had to wait for ours. We finally received a portion of our meal, but again, had to wait for the other part to arrive, which when it did, was partially cold. French toast and pancakes should not take that long to make. Both of our hash browns tasted more like onions (which i hate) than potatoes so i can only assume they were cooked on the same griddle, thankfully neither of us are allergic. We had to ask for syrup (the bottle at the table was almost empty), and were never given napkins at all. We were given a discount and apology, but over all, the experience was such that we will not be returning.

I waited 35 minutes for an online order, I made it in advance because I was in a hurry, in the car I only discovered that they cooked something different from what I ordered, I’m disappointed, I just don’t eat it!

I mean a bad review is the best I can do…. It’s not an ihop issue… it’s a Statesville issue!!! Cooks that don’t care (and it shows by thre food the happily send out) and staff that are barely awake if your lucky enough for them to even show up to work because the place never has any staff!!! You won’t go to a surrounding town and find these same issues!!

Lilly our waitress was wonderful and very prompt made sure we were well taken care of. The food was not up to.par at all. The burger was cold and not done.

Accidentally put this on the Charlotte location so wanted to update to the correct one. Restaurant looked dirty. There was a snake, I can't make this up, that we had to remove from the booth area. Should have been a sign to leave, but we were feeling adventurous. 😁 We were the only patrons at 8am on a Thursday morning. Food took forever to arrive and was ice cold. Horrible experience. Will not go there again.

Waited over an hour to get eggs and pancakes and never got them so we left. This particular IHOP always struggled with service from the kitchen. They need to invest in a kitchen that knows how to perform. Several families that came in after us got their food before we did many times in the past not just this time. This time was the last straw. It’s not that hard. It’s eggs and pancakes and excusable. As an owner, you should go in and fire your complete kitchen staff. I can’t really blame the service because they can only provide a good service if a kitchen can provide a good service and that’s severely lacking here

I have been to a multiple Ihop location, but this one is very disappointing, the food take too long, the food isn’t cook right, it even serve cook rotten broccoli as if i will not notice. super dried salmon, powered mashed potato 😤 you have to remind the things that is need e.g. utensils, napkins, refill for the drink etc.
