We really enjoyed ourselves here. Nice place to stop downtown. Love the games. Very nice that pool tables are in a different room and not next to pinball games. Everyone's food was very well prepared. 👌 Beer was on ice in the buckets. Nothing like ice cold beer.
A local bar, with local flair. It definitely doesn't look like much, but it's basically a pub/tavern. Definitely nothing fancy. But the food is where we were pleasantly surprised. My wife had the hamburger steak, and I had a burger and fries. We ordered the fried mushrooms as well. The mushroom appetizer was fresh - not frozen. The fries were too. Both our entrees were very good. The bartender/server was overwhelmed, and not as attentive as she likely would have been....
It's a good place to hang out. The prices are reasonable and most of the bartenders are friendly and efficient. It's great that they have a separate room with the pool tables and a jukebox, although the other extremely Loud game in there is distracting during a game. Adding a dart board in there would be nice. The food I've had there has most always been good. Only complaint is that they close too early.
