I have been going to this restaurant for over twenty years. I was so disappointed in the service I received with my last to go order. I have ordered the same item that I've always ordered. It was the first item that came out of my mouth when I placed the order. I called the restaurant back to address the issue with no attitude did not raise my voice I was very polite I only wanted to let them know that they got my order wrong. I have never been treated with this type of worst customer service in my life. The lady screamed at me. Then the young man that took my order that got the order wrong screamed at me. Once he finished his ranting at me I kindly told him" young man I never eat anything from here but the number 19 fried soft". He was completely silent. I am a woman of color and a lot of this restaurants business comes from my people. I feel like we need to stop giving them our business. They do not have any respect for my people however they love our money. I believe they are rude to everyone in particular my people. I do not care how good the food is I will not patronize your business if you do not respect me or my people or anyone as far as I am concerned. Never eat as this disrespectful restaurant.

Ordered sesame chicken for lunch special, and looks soo white meaning not that nice dark flavored sauce, pretty much all the sauce at the bottom and the way it’s fried taste bad more breading than chicken , also they fried some with just chicken fat, which is not a good taste at all. The “fried” rice is just yellow rice no egg or even veggies. It’s literally yellow rice and some onions. Probably the worse I have had honestly. Service just seem less caring kind of an attitude. Lastly the price for the lunch special is pretty high for 8.50. Don’t waste your time or money here

Horrible… I spent 17.36 on a chicken wings meal with lo mein noodles and two eggrolls. The food was extremely cold. Even the broccoli! I called the restaurant back several times, but they didn’t answer. So if your in the mood for good Chinese food, don’t order from here! Just go fix you a to go plate from Shanghai!

Ordered a scallion chicken went back to work got shrimp and broccoli called them to tell them and they jumped my throat glad they don’t care about about customers and want to get an attitude about it lost 4 customers

We have done take out from Peking Chinese Kitchen a number of times and always been happy with our meals.As with all Chinese restaurants, there is a fairly standard menu. However, Peking is very flexible and it is easy to mix and match. It is best to get a menu from the restaurant as it is more comprehensive than the internet menu. They are very quick, most meals only take 10 or 15 minutes to prepare.Anyway, if you are in Statesville, or coming through, it is a great place to grab a great meal.Parking: If there is no room in front to park, there is a city lot across the street.

Decently diverse menu and very good prices, most entrees (daily specials) are $8-9 and they come with onion fried rice. Very good portions, and enough sauce. Spring rolls had a good amount of filling, nice and crisp. Hot and sour soup was delicious, and a good amount of ingredients. Very small restaurant, not much decor, but great food, good prices and I will be back. Been to some places that were disappointing in flavour and value, this place may be my new Chinese restaurant.

I just left there and ordered a #1 with pork fried rice, and I did not receive the pork fried rice. I tried calling 3 times, and no one answered . I paid extra for pork fried rice. I live in Mooresville and didn't realize the mistake until I got home. Please post a telephone number for your business so that people can call and address issues.
