I love subway! Normally I love the subs. But on this particular day I wasn't happy. Inside was a mess. The food behind the counter was like a tornado hit it. No wrapping on the meats or cheeses. Nothing looked fresh. It looked kinda like it was sitting under heat lamps. Still I ordered a roast beef sub with pepper Jack cheese, olives, pickles and mayo. It looked good while she was making it but when I got it home less than a mile away I opened it up and the smell was offputting. Maybe the roast beef was bad? I tasted it but within an hour I was making friends with the tidy bowl man. When I felt well enough to drive I went back to subway with the sub to get my money back and they said they couldn't take it back or give me my money back due to company policies. I will not be going back to that subway again. Plus I wasn't even greeted when I walked in. They looked at me like I disturbed their conversation.

This was the worst subway I have been in. They were out of lettuce, onions, steak, pickles. They only had American cheese as well No provolone or pepperjack. They should just close for the night at this point.

Today I want to recognize some Black Excellence right here in Statesville! The young Black lady who made my sandwich today was absolutely outstanding. She was professional, patient, and had such a positive attitude — she made sure my order was just the way I wanted it, with care and a smile.
It’s refreshing to see young Black employees showing up, standing out, and setting an example of excellence and pride. She deserves her flowers for real!

This location of Subway needs to be evaluated. The customer service is always bad, the employees seem like they despise their jobs and they are ALWAYS out of most of their items. I have giving them several chances and there has been no improvements. I recommend that if you must have Subway that you seek out another Statesville location. Can't give a full review on food as once again they were out of most items needed to construct my sandwich.

Both girls there seemed annoyed to make mine or the man behind me order. They was out of almost everything and would not get more just gave us what was left. Got extremely rude when I told them they left off the bacon on a chicken bacon ranch sub. I will never go back to this location.

I was there shortly after they opened. I’m so upset I didn’t ask the lady’s name. She was nice. They did not have onions ready and I was running late. She offered to cut some but I didn’t have the time. So, she gave me a complimentary cookie. I was rushed but her kind gesture made such a nice start to my Saturday morning. Thank you! She has short hair and I’m guessing she’s in her 50’s. Great employee!!!

I visited this Subway at lunch time today, they wasn't busy but talking to other customers in conversation and not acknowledging customers that was waiting I received my Sub and as soon as I paid for it I saw a ROACH crawling across the counter! How Digusting! Oh and the banana peppers were soggy and old and no Vinegar this subway is in Statesville on Wilkesboro Hwy
