I was blown away by this bakery! We booked with Preston and the team in early September for an October 1st birthday party for our son. Not only did they absolutely deliver with the looks of the cake, the taste was amazing!! It was a hit amongst all of our guests and we truly enjoyed it. The cake was absolutely adorable and matched our circus theme perfectly. All I did was send pictures of what I had in mind and our decoration pack, and they put their own creative spin on it w

I looked for years when I lived in Charlotte, for a bakery that was sugar free and gluten free, and when I moved to Statesville, I found this wonderful bakery! I buy a week at a time! They also make wedding cakes and other, regular, bakery items.

Hands down one of the best cake I have had. Customer service was hands-down the best. The cake was ready when I got there didn’t have to wait. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

Sweet Thing Bakery & Cafe supplied cupcakes for our daughters wedding, and we have had nothing but rave reviews from all the guest. The bride and groom chose their 14 favorite flavors and not one of them disappointed! Would highly recommend them for your wedding or next event!

I love their cakes and all their delicious pastrys.Their decorating of their cakes is beautiful. They have a friendly staff. I highly recommend you visiting them up town if you have not been yet.It was good to talk with Preston today. They have cherry chews yummy like Home Bakery had up town years ago.

I ordered a coffee. The server was eating, did not wear a mask, shoved her hand inside the cup as she was brewing, kept talking over the cup as she was showing another girl how to brew. Mega contamination on every level, so I refused the coffee. She suggested that if it made me feel better, she would put a mask on and start all over. WTF? Just be aware.

They did a fantastic job on the cake for me and my wife’s wedding. It looked absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. Highly recommend the Champaign Strawberry flavor!

Stopped here waiting for our pup at the groomers down the street. Super friendly lady at the counter. Was patient while my toddler son picked out his cupcake. They were yummy!! The iced coffee I got was very good as well. We will be going back for sure!

⭐Horrible Customer Service⭐In March 2019 i ordered a bone shaped caked for my sons party and it was just what u wanted. This year i ordered a small baby shark cake 3 layered to feed about 20 people. Well this Covid-19 has pushed our everyday lives in all different directions forcing me to postpone my daughters 1st birthday. So when i went back to see what could be done about a refund i was told only thing i could get was a gift card only for his place of service (i didnt like that but took it anyways).Then when i was ready to reschedule the party I was told a different price from the original one. So i was told there must have been a mix up and was expecting a phone call the next day from Pretson hisself (never recieved it), instead he had one of his young inexperienced workers do all the talking. I was then told that i couldnt get the cake on the scheduled day because they were book completely booked until the end of June which that wasn never discussed on the phone that previous day. And also speaking of a policy, there is no policy posted on the sote or inside the store itself! Ugh im just completely done with this bakery and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. ⭐Horrible Customer Service ⭐
