Man with the long hair and beard took my order was annoyed that I was even ordering. I wasn’t rude at all but i don’t know why he was annoyed that I was even there. Place that have rude employees ruin everything about the place. There’s no reason to have a bad attitude for no reason with a customer. I simply won’t be coming back just because the employees have bad attitudes. If you want good business then you need to start with your employees and how they interact with the customers. Coffee wasn’t very good either. The only thing nice about this place was the lady that was at the bakery side. Their bakery items were ok. Seemed kind of old.

I love this coffee shop! Their lattes and pastries are out of this world. Emily also made me the best Thanksgiving custom ordered cookies - my nephews and nieces loved them! My entire family kept asking where I got them from. I highly recommend trying the peanut butter cookies! Parker and Emily are very kind and diligent with their business - the proof is there right when you walk through the door!

Easy to find and lots of street parking, it's bright and happy inside. Lots of gorgeous windows! Plenty of seating, both tables and single chairs, inside and out.Everything is so fresh and good! The lady and gentleman that took care of us were both charming and personable.Their coffee is good and so is their hot chocolate. We’ve tried cookies, danishes, cupcakes and cake pops and all are delicious.I highly recommend this bakery.

And the coffee bar is on the back side.Only complaint is that the bakeries maybe too sweet for me. Especially the cookies. Atmosphere wise, I like Lake mountain coffee across the street better if you just want to sit down and enjoy a caffinated drink.

Went to try out the vanilla bean for my first time guy with the long hair got super frustrated with us because we were looking around to see what to get he was huffing and puffing as soon as we came in there we didn’t even get a chance to tell him to give us a second we felt rushed to order. He made the coffee in a rush & was still upset. I am disappointed cause I was excited to try this place out It was recommended from a friend. Went in with a smile but that quickly changed. Never coming back.

Parker made me the best peach smoothie ever!! And the baked goodies…. There’s the big problem with this place.. HOW do you limit yourself when you want to eat one of every single thing?! They do gluten free, dairy free, and both, and they are delicious!

I was in Statesville recently and went to The Vanilla Bean for the first time. What a great experience!The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a nice outdoor seating area as well. The guy behind the counter was efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant.In addition to all the coffees, they have teas, and even one caffeine-free tea, which I ordered. Very yummy!I would definitely go back when I am in the area.
