Stopped by for LUNCH and was pleasantly surprised.
Without looking at a menu, I told the Manager GILSON that I wanted a cheese enchilada, one beef enchilada, and one chile relleno. He said no problem and that comes with rice and beans.
They brought red salsa and chips. The salsa was pleasant and had a hint of garlic that I really liked as well as small pieces of onion in it.
I asked Angie if they had any salsa Verde that maybe had a little bit more heat and they said sure and they went and got a bottle and a little bowl so I could try that also.
It’s not the biggest and the fanciest restaurant in town but the people and the food will probably make up for that. The big fancy places charge three or four dollars when you say you want rice and another three or four dollars when you say you want beans and he just said it comes with your meal.
I posted a photo of the plate and wish I had a ruler to lay down beside it. Most dinner plates are about 10“ and I’m guessing this one was more like 14” or 15“. BIG!

Nope. Chips were stale, the wait for food was very long, the food was bland. This might be the worst mexican restaurant I have ever been to.

The best Mexican food hands down. Can't wait to get back to them. Plenty of food for the next day. to take some home. Go try it out, you won't be disappointed.
