This is Mavericks...best wings in Sunset/Calabash area. Crispy, and juicy! My wife had a burger and it was also very good! I've read some bad reviews but we've never had a bad experience here. I'm not sure how many times it has changed ownership but it's amazing right now!

I stopped in to check it out and grab a menu to see if it was a good place for my sister and I to visit, it was cozy, the staff seemed friendly and it looked clean. The menu items were a fair price $$ for the beach , neither of us drink alcohol but there is a bar with a good variety of beer, mixed drinks, wine, and non alcoholic beer. We will definitely try it on for size.

First & only time we will go there. Took a bit to get seated, but that's OK. Then we just weren't waited on! Not even drinks. Tried to get staff attention. Finally, a waitress from other section came to ask if anyone had been to our table. She spoke w our waiter, and he finally came over. When he took our drink order we told him we wanted to give our food order too, he laughed. Food was not great, but that opinion might have been tainted by the service & attitude of wait staff.Might be a good place for locals but not as a new place.

They were out of almost everything said truck was due in a couple days ...so didn't try what we wanted because they didn't have it.....not sure I would go

So the place has "golf" in its name, so I thought there would be mini-golf along with food. From what I saw, there was no mini-golf.My wait after ordering food was also about an hour.The food is alright, but the price was a little high.

Went to lunch this Saturday it took about an hour to get food. restaurant was a quarter full and not very busy. Sandwich was very average and priced at a premium. Next time I will go to Wendy's. Waitresses where good though.
Great spot for local seafood!!! Had the best steamed oysters!

Stopped in on a Sunday to watch the game. Beers were cold but it stops there. Shrimp basket was way over cooked and rubbery. had to ask for the included house made cole slaw (if that’s homemade then they need a new recipe). Nachos were horrible. Menu says served with cheddar cheese and house made chili. First order was absolutely cold. Asked if we could receive a hot order. that one was served with lukewarm cheese wiz and chili and 2 jalapeño slices. The food quality we experienced was really bad. Maybe the kitchen was having a really bad day but we won’t eat here again.

I go here every week for Karaoke w/Lisa Snow .. which IS a lot of fun btw. Right now she's there every Thursday night 5-8 or 9 pm thru-out Oct. & Nov.They DO need to bring in more help than just one bartender & one waitress though !!! They also have a huge outdoor deck with some covered areas for shade.
