The entrées were all tasty and plentiful enough to take home half for another great meal of reheats. Both the included Caesar salad and garden salad were well prepared, as was the fresh warm garlic and herb bread. The wine was very reasonably priced. The bill for three of us was just over $100 with a generous tip.

A Class Act and Unforgettable Evening
We chose La Cucina Italian Restaurant in Sunset Beach, NC, to celebrate my in-laws’ anniversary—a date filled with warmth and gentle sorrow, as we lost my father-in-law 15 years ago. It was more than a meal; it was deeply meaningful. The evening began wonderfully with La Cucina’s irresistible garlic bread. Our entrees were equally outstanding. My mother-in-law and I enjoyed the hearty Baked Stuffed Shells Bolognaise. My husband loved the flavorful rich, creamy Shrimp Gorgonzola, my sisters-in-law loved the zesty Homemade Italian Sausage and Shrimp Ala Vino. What truly elevated our evening was our server, Karina. Her warmth, authenticity, and genuine kindness made us feel special and valued. Karina’s personable charm and attentive care turned our gathering into something special. The highlight came at the end when Karina surprised us with a generous, complimentary piece of decadent Tiramisu after overhearing our anniversary conversation. This thoughtful gesture deeply touched us, especially following a contrasting experience the previous night at another local restaurant, where, despite our longstanding relationship, we were charged for a disappointing dessert. La Cucina, particularly Karina, provided exceptional food and heartfelt hospitality. Other restaurants could learn from their example of genuine care and kindness! We'll certainly return soon and often.

Lovely Italian spot, probably the best through the Myrtle Beach area in terms of food quality. Reservations definitely recommended, they were able to take my two small children and 4 adults at a table. The children's meals were large and my kids loved them. Veal Francaise was delicious and I really loved the marinara sauce and meatballs. Calamari was ok, a little lackluster in flavor, but certainly fresh. Service was wonderful to my kids and accommodating our tables needs. Lovely meal

Very comfortable and romantic date night spot. Our server, Bryan, was knowledgeable with the menu and helped make the night wonderful. And Oh. My. God. The food! We started with the clams casino which were amazing! Next, the shrimp gorgonzola for me and the filet mignon for Mr. We dont know which one was better! Ended with the limoncello cake, which is so light and fresh we could've gone for another slice! 10/10 DELICIOUS.

All of our dinners were delicious. Waiter was good but not great and did not ask us if we wanted desert or coffee but he was polite.

Did takeout for the family on the last night of vacation and we chose here! The lobster ravioli and the spaghetti with meatballs were amazing! Definitely will keep this place in mind for future vacations!
An Italian restaurant with a full bar but is unable to make a Negroni, Aperol Spritz or even an espresso. The food is subpar and generic.
The calamari is next to nothing with no flavor, barely any protein and looking like little fried onion straws. Nothing really stands out on the menu that you really can’t get at a good Italian Pizzeria.
The Italian Wedding soup was one of the best I had, the chicken vodka entree was good but I wished they had a few more pasta selections than the everyday spaghetti, penne or linguine.
The server was amazing and definitely made it worthwhile to be there. I had to be present as an obligation but wouldn’t return voluntarily if I had too.
5⭐️on the service & 2⭐️on the lack of food and beverage selection calling yourself an “Italian Restaurant”.
Very intimate setting. We had excellent service, superb food and plenty of it! Reservations are a must but worth it.
