This place used to better but recently has gone downhill within the last few years.They charged my family a 20% fee for a large party since we have three children. The food quality does not match up to the high prices. Before COVID I would have recommended this place to anyone on their way to the island but since 2021 the service (like many other restaurants) has gone completely downhill. I am not a local but I have been coming to Sunset 3-4 times per year every year since 1996.

Met family from out of town on a Friday night for a few drinks. Bar service was great. Staff very friendly. We didn't have any food. Unbelievably, closing time was 9pm!! They were kind enough to stay open until 10.

How they keep return customers, I don't know. We keep trying to have a good experience but have been disappointed almost every time.
Parking lot looks like an area trash point, service is slow, food is mediocre (which is OK for a beach bar, if it is consistently good, warm and tasty). We need good restaurants in Sunset Beach, this one has a looong way to go.
The food trucks in the park across the street offer a better dining experience, which is sad.

This place is so unorganized. The male bartenders stand around and talk. I’m not sure they are actually trained to bartend. The waitresses cannot keep up with their tables. The food was good but they need better customer service. The wait staff is very slow. Once arriving, it took a long time to even get my drink order.
Food was good. Bartender wasn’t very friendly, never came over to ask for my drink order. Owner or manager took my order. I have tried twice to call in an order. But nobody answers the phone.
Excellent wings, service is kinda laid back and slow but the wings are really great. Great

Hands down the best wings I’ve ever had! Dry rub Cajun w/side of extra spicy buffalo sauce & blue cheese. If you like crispy wings and cold beer this is the place for you.
