I must first state I am a extreamly picky person. This was the best food I have had in a long long time.
I am a local and feel that not only was our serivce exceptional but the food was on par with several mislin star places in New york that I have eaten.
even food i usally dont like like squash i loved here. I will be 100 percent going back and look forward to it being my new spot.

Had 10 people and were told we had to make reservations. We said we would split up into parties of 5 and 5 and hostess said no we needed reservation. No where on website or Google does it say you need reservations for parties larger than 5. They said they have it on Facebook where it states recommend reservations for parties larger than 5. Rude hostess and clearly they don't care about customers or they would have sat us 5 and 5 at separate tables. Hope this helps someone else so they don't get stuck in the situation we did. Management should take note and do better about communicating their parties larger than 5 should make reservations.

The Cove is truly the hidden gem in Holden. The staff is kind and motivated to make sure you have a good experience. The Sea Scallops, the Seafood Linguine, Penne and la Vodka, the steaks and burgers and the Daily Specials are all wonderful! Don’t get me started on the cheesecakes!! 🤤🤤
They have a lot of summer dine in traffic and cut off Togo order later to assure better service for dine in customers… they have a small kitchen and everything is made to order…. Some people will find anything to complain about though 😅
Overall the quality and consistency is the best in Holden.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and were sadly disappointed. Our server was really slow to return and brought us water the second time that we asked. Unfortunately, we sat at a high top in the bar area and that was a huge mistake!! Why in the world they have the “dirty plate bussing area” 3 foot from our table so hearing plate scraping and slamming the entire time was awful! I’ve worked as a server and never have I seen this in the seating area. Although it was separated by a 4 foot half wall. 🙄 The table beside us, seated 15 minutes after us, had a different server and speedy service. Our drink was really good but the food was real average. My husband didn’t even eat his because it tasted like “fried any and everything”. Along with the loudmouth regular at the bar, it was anything but a celebratory dinner. It was so loud, between the plate scraping and the loudmouth, we couldn’t even hear each other unless we yelled. That 94.5 sanitation score didn’t help. It’s a shame because this area needs a good restaurant that is more than a “fish house”.

came in june 3rd. we where seated. waitress brought our drinks and bread. and thats where the service ended. waitress sat down with a gentleman and never came back. its sad the last two times we went in the service was lacking. I own retail stores and I realize one less attentive employee can run customers off so I always try to call and talk to the manager. when I called at 6:15 I was told there was no manager or lead person but she might be in later.

Very nice place. Good crowd and good service. The owner is very engaged in daily operations. Come in for dinner or just drinks. Just wish they had Guinness in cans instead of the bottles. Highly recommend this place!

This Little Place is an absolute hidden Treasure. The Food Is So fresh and is prepared with Love. Our Server/Bartender Nick was so attentive and made our dinner experience memorable. I highly recommend The Steak, and My Linguine and White Clam Sauce was so Good. Cocktails were good as well. EggPlant Appetizer was so so good. I Love This Place. We took our desserts home. ❤️

Visited for the first time tonight and it was delightful. The service was incredible, drinks delicious, and the food was perfect (potato skins and cheesecake are top tier). Really enjoyed learning about the restaurants fresh seafood and farm-to-table offerings. Just turned a local into a regular.

We were very pleased with each dish we ordered. The blackened ribeye was cooked to perfection and the crab cakes were fantastic. The service was wonderful. We highly recommend trying it out. We have passed it several times and wish we would have stopped sooner.

We were delighted with the food (ooh, edamame!) and the service (thanks, Jacob), and the comfortable atmosphere. The menu is broad, everything from the appetizers to the main courses is wonderful, and we felt welcomed. We’ll be back.
