My wife and I and our friends all had different entrees ranging from shrimp scampi, crab cakes, and burgers. We all agreed that the food was delicious, the portions were large and the price was reasonable by today’s standards. The crab cakes were very good and the shrimp scampi was excellent. It has recently changed hands and the young couple managing it are so very gracious.

Went to the Cove for dinner with friends and although the food was delicious, the service wasn’t what you expected for the price and the dining room was loud. We waited for drinks, waited for food (some arriving 10 minutes after we had been served), and waited to get the check. Like I said, the food was very good but be prepared to wait.

My reluctance from reading the reviews was unfounded. Food and service were excellent. My group recommends the eggplant tower, the coconut shrimp, and the mussels for appetizers, then the blackened sea mussels, the glazed blackened tuna, and the Cove Ribeye as main entrees. Salads were fresh and were all well received. Bar had excellent pours; for something different, we recommend the very light and refreshing basil cucumber cooler. Yes, we'll return. Because of limited seating, larger groups should call days in advance.

We were looking for a restaurant with a little more selection. The Cove delivered! Great steaks, very good crab cakes, nice side salads and fresh bread with dinner. We also had the fried Calamari as an app and it was great. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something more than fried fish and sandwiches. (Btw… they do have fried fish and burgers if that is what you are looking for.)

Seems like new owners or different cook but seems servings were cut in half and quality of food went down in last few months if you order scallops expect 4 small ones for 30$ steaks under cooked cheese cake was good but not the same overall not worth the money as it once was, but the drinks was worth it for sure good alcohol amount and tasted very good.
I must first state I am a extreamly picky person. This was the best food I have had in a long long time.
I am a local and feel that not only was our serivce exceptional but the food was on par with several mislin star places in New york that I have eaten.
even food i usally dont like like squash i loved here. I will be 100 percent going back and look forward to it being my new spot.

8/8/25 after waiting over an hour, watching others seated around us get their food and leave, I started asking our waiter where was our food. We had ordered a salad, he had not even brought that to the table. We were told “the kitchen is backed up” but not to worry, “I got you, will take care of your dinner” After another 1/2 hr. I ask for the manager. We were told then
“Sorry your ticket was lost” but not to worry “I will take care of your dinner for you.
Then they bring the bill. They took off a whopping $20
I still owed $58 !!
The manager then simply said,
“We did take off $20, so you ladies have a good night”
To make it worse, the food was just OK, certainly not worth waiting 1.5 hrs for. After checking the snap shot of my bill, I also noticed they added a processing fee of $1.54.
Do not recommend this restaurant!!!!
