If you're just coming here for breakfast, you're missing out. I've always come in the morning and got a bagel with cream cheese. Which is always delicious. Went and got lunch the other day with my boyfriend. I got the chicken club sandwich on an everything bagel. Was expecting a chicken breast like most places do it, but they chop the chicken into cubes, and it is way better that way! Boyfriend got the Scoop BLT on an asiago bagel. Bacon is super thick pieces, and the asiago cheese bagel was absolutely delicious. Their asiago bagel will now be my go to order. Didn't know what I was missing out on. Also, to note that the staff are awesome. My boyfriend couldn't pick which bagel he wanted his sandwich on, so he asked them to pick for him. Now, have a new favorite bagel because of it. I have also never had a bad iced coffee, which is really saying something if you drink iced coffee. Salted caramel flavor is what I usually order. My uncle, who is a local, swears by their breakfast burritos. Great local spot where you can get breakfast all day!

We have been coming to Holden Beach for over 30 years and never visited The Scoop, not even once. How can this be? While we like ice cream itâs not something we normally go out for and I assumed it was just that.. an ice cream place. In fact, we were told it was basically an ice cream parlor years ago.. But WOW it is so much more and so so good. Their menu is nothing short of chocked full of so many good things we will need to go back a dozen times. Take a close look at the menu pics and you will see what I mean. We went twice during our 3 days trip and canât wait to go back the next time we are at Holden.

The young lady who waited on us was very nice. You have to sit outside and they bring your order out to you. We ordered ice cream only and I got banana pudding, butter, pecan and black cherry while the ice cream was smooth and creamy it lacked tremendously on flavor you could not even tell the butter pecan ice cream was not just vanilla. The banana pudding was pretty good, but the black cherry was very bland. We had Hersheyâs brand ice cream at a different shop just down the street two days ago and it was much better. They only serve burger on bagels instead of buns. My brother in law tried that and did not recommend it. Probably would not try this Place again! Table and chairs were not clean at all.

This isn't The Scoop of years past. You don't go inside now, you just order at the window, so you can't see the items available. My husband had cotton candy ice cream and I had Fruity Pebbles and they were both disgusting. We only tried it because Beaches-n-Cream wasn't opened and The Scoop had been ok in the past. We won't be making that mistake again.
