Food is great! There are so many good options for food, whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert! The breakfast burritos are amazing, and the lunch is great too. The menu is huge, with burritos, tacos, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, waffles, hot dogs, burgers, pizza bagels, etc. So much to get here, and everything is very good! Definitely check out the Scoop if you are in the Holden Beach area. Great staff as well, super friendly and helpful!

The Scoop aims low and still misses the mark, even for beach food. My $3.75 chili dog featured a smaller-than-average hotdog and bun with about a tablespoon of chili. Convenience store hotdogs are better, higher quality, and cost less. We requested our fries extra crispy but they showed up under cooked to the point where they had a starchy texture. It took about 20 minutes to receive our food. If it took this long I wish they had taken a few minutes longer and at least fully cooked our fries, even if serving them "extra crispy" remained a stretch goal. Appearances aren't deceiving here: The Scoop is a typical beach tourist trap offering a mediocre product at high prices in a run-down setting.

First time customers that will definitely be back! We had the Big Heat Burrito, Pumpkin Spice Waffle with cinnamon sugar butter, and the Classic Bagel Sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese. The burrito was our favorite, but all three were delicious.
Stopped here today for a Holden Beach bagel. It was excellent. The bacon is cooked appropriately just the right amount of spices. If you want a good bagel show up here.

The Scoop has always been a great dessert attraction at Holden Beach. I stopped the other day because they have food now too. I got bagels and they were delicious. Food is great, the service is awesome! I will be back!!
