Everything here was amazing, the people, the food, the atmosphere. They have silverware, sauces, and to go boxes right up at the front counter so you don't have to ask. The pulled pork was so good! I tried a variety of sauces and I liked them all. The habanero sauce is probably my favorite, the sweet and tangy and the okie dokies sweet smokehouse sauce were both good too. Everything came on recyclable plates too for easy clean up! Sodas were a little flat but that happens...
We decided to try Okie Dokies after a hike, and I have to say, I was very surprised. Being from Texas, I’m very picky, and was not disappointed! Possibly the best hush puppies I’ve ever had.. I’d literally come back for those! We had ribs, chicken, and pulled pork, along with fries, slaw, okra, cheese grits, and mac n cheese.. very happy with all of them!
On my way home from grad school and found them online. I am a BBQ connoisseur, but found this BBQ to be up there with some of the best. The pork itself along with sides offer a delicious combination! Their sauce (sweet and tangy) was phenomenal! I was extremely satisfied! Great BBQ and service!
