What else is there to say about a Waffle House that has the Dead playing on Thanksgiving night?? We stopped in here while visiting the area and were delighted with our whole experience! The place was clean, upbeat and noisy but in a good way. It was crowded in there, but our food was very good and the service was also good. This is one of the best Waffle Houses we have been to!

07/24: Update. Sorry but was disappointed with my second visit today. Food and service was good but the kitchen was SO loud my guests and I could not talk at all without repeating ourselves and just about yelling like everyone else is for this reason. I know this is a Waffle House thing and the dishes and glasses will bang and clang but on my god!! There was even a lady yelling and screaming the whole time, it was like the Waffle House boot camp. I almost feel like they do this to get on your last nerve so you leave when done eating and they can fill the tables quicker. Sorry for this update but I cannot enjoy my visit here when it is this busy and noisy. And and also eat with people practically standing all around me. I cannot be a regular at Waffle House.
First visit no complaints. I was greeted and seated by a very pleasant lady I think named Donna. Then a very pleasant waitress named Vickie. She checked in on us at the right times, very personable and nice. It was the nicest part of my visit, the staff. Good job. Whomever did the training good job. Food was good. I’ll have to try lunch sometime soon.

Waitress was great and policies terrible! Would not allow coffee until my whole party arrived. Had to wait 30 minutes for coffee and the others in my party who arrived later we're served 1st. It is not too much to offer coffee.

My coworker and I came in one night after our shift,from walking in,it was small but that was to be expected, the tables were absolutely filthy with the amount of employees they had working and the hygiene standards were lacking. I watched several cooks working without gloves or hairnets handling food. I had ordered some kind of breakfast sandwich and somehow the egg part was cold while the bread was hot and toasted. I took one bite and immiedately just put it back down. At that point my appetite was pretty much gone so I left with my coworker after paying.

Standard Waffle House, but pretty awesome staff. My dad frequents 4 out of 7 days a week and they always treat him with the utmost respect, and I appreciate that!
We just left the waffle house in Swansboro, worst experience in 20+ years The waitress, was not good at her job She didn't serve us the correct food to the correct persons...( we overlooked that) so i started eating my food (I took a bite of my Texas melt) she then came and took my food from me while i was eating, took it back to the prep bar and switched my eaten food to a different plate, then brought it back to me...wow! My eaten food was up there with other people's order She said the hashbrowns weren't right Anyway, the wife's food is wrong, (she doesn't complain)we just try to move on then she finally brings the missing food to me, just to have made it wrong again....3rd times the charm , right? No, while waiting for my food to return again, we had to ask for forks, ask for tea Finally the 3rd time I get my food it's right, yeah.....nope ¾ way through eating my food there is a peice of a glove in my food....thats right a plastic glove!!! I complained immediately, I keep my cool, but I was ready to go Worst experience ever, and what do I get? 10% off she said..... I will drive to Jacksonville next time I want WH

It was what you expect of a waffle house. My daughter's patty melt was not very good. But I liked the blueberry waffles. Pretty clean for waffle House but no real personal space to talk and enjoy food with the employees right there.
