For years, I have ordered the same from bakeries across the country. We never tried this bakery so we gave a try. Both pies were awesome. Great favor and the pie crust flakey. We all agreed, they were the best pies of all the bakeries we have tried across the country. Yes, I'm disappointed that I didn't get to take a couple addtional.pies home to Texas. Tried for a month and a half to get a response about a custom cake. I called and discussed with assistant, sent a long detailed email about 45 days in advance of when I needed the cake, also went into shop to follow up after I never heard back and left my phone number but never got a response. With the occasion approaching, will have to find a Plan B. Very disappointed as well as totally puzzled! ☹️ It might be that they only do wedding cakes? but if that is the case I wish they had let me know in time to find somewhere else to do the cake!

The day before my friend’s birthday my cake maker came down sick. I found this bakery the next day to see if they could accommodate me for my friends birthday. They had one non-iced red velvet cake in the back. They iced it fresh and put a simple design on it that day. I appreciate them accommodating and helping my friend have a good 34th birthday.

While doing a thorough comparative of all wedding bakers in and around the Asheville, NC area (for a destination wedding where we had zero relationship with bakery businesses), there were a lot of high priced quotes, but Crista (owner) was definitely more reasonable, especially for the artistry and quality of her products.A+ customer satisfactionCrista brought to life our specific design of a Fall themed dessert table for our daughter and son-in-laws 100 guest wedding, consisting of a variety of mini whoopie pies that represented the flavors of the fall season. Her creative display elevated above and beyond our vision. They were such a hit in fact, that there were only a dozen left at the end of the evening, which were fought over! The cake itself was stunning, containing preferred flavors of the bride and groom, and the compliments abounded with the flavor, texture, moistness aka best slice of wedding cake ever eaten comments from so many guests in attendance. Crista embellished the wedding cake with her original design of fall elements that pulled together the Fall Season themed wedding decor throughout the venue. I stopped in today for a cannoli. They make them to order. It was so good! They also sell cup cakes. There is a sign outside that states, “Getting Married, Schedule a Cake Tasting”. I’m guessing this must be their main source of business.
I ordered an assortment of desserts for my daughter's birthday who is attending Western Carolina University. The presentation was beautiful with cupcakes, cannolis, & macarons! It was a breeze to order over the phone, arrange delivery, and pay. I ended up not needing them delivered because my mom & sister were in town, but she had everything ready with a sweet little note, and let my mom and sister pick out a dessert in place of the delivery fee. Excellent service, and my daughter loved all the desserts, especially the cannoli! Highly Recommend!!
The workers were so nice and helped me get my son at WCU some cupcakes on his birthday. They delivered them straight to his dorm and he met them outside.

Crista and James are absolute GEMS! I work across the street from them and always go in for a red velvet cupcake. We have used them for multiple events for our store and won’t go anywhere else!! They have talent and passion for what they do and you can tell it in their work! So thankful for them!
