You know a place is going to be exciting when they open at 5pm, you show up at 4:50 and there is already a line waiting to get inside. The food was delicious. We had fried tofu with the special chili sauce, mushroom salad (my fave) and beef massaman, the special this week. Outstanding food. Service was lovely as well. The restaraunt has 7 tables available and a small bar seating. Getting there early seems to be the general idea.
Drove by this place several times in the past and it always seemed busy. Decided to stop in for lunch with my girlfriend. We ordered Pad Med Mamuang (rice and chicken vegetables in a mild sauce) and I ordered the Peek Gai Tod (chicken wings) and Tom Kia soup (chicken, coconut milk, lemon grass and shrooms). The wings were fried and overdone, the wings had no flavor whatsoever until I dunked them in a Thai sauce. My girlfriend’s Pad Med Mamuang had pieces of fried chicken which...
I took the order to go, but was able to come into the restaurant and talk to the staff briefly while I added some dessert. I will give it a 100% for atmosphere just based on the interaction! The food was fantastic, next time I order I’ll ask for a little more heat, but I would rather start with the food, a little mild and see where that takes me.
