Fonda Cactus Mexican Kitchen

Fabulous every time! As a local, this is my favorite Mexican place, and my go-to for picking up a takeout dinner on the way home. Delicious, quick, and so affordable, plus served by exceedingly friendly staff. The owner (Bernardo) is a delight, I’ve never been told “good to see you” so genuinely. My favorite is the gorditas with el pastor, but you really can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. Though the menu isn’t huge, the variety of their daily specials brings something new seemingly every time I stop in. Don’t forget your tres leches (if you can get one before they sell out) and jamaica! Trust me, you’ll be glad you ate here, and extra glad you bought a second meal to eat later :)

Fonda Cactus is the best authentic Mexican food in the area. I always get their Quesabirrias because they are just so delicious! The owners are very nice, caring people. This is an all-around fabulous place to eat.

I have been here a couple of times and the person at the register is always very nice to me. Will continue to go here for delivery and take out.

LOVED the whole experience. The service was above and beyond- kind, quick, and informative! All the food was impressive and amazing quality/quantity for the price as well. Will definitely be coming back next time we are in town!

Cozy atmosphere, insanely caring staff, and food that will absolutely blow you away. Got a few things to try: the birria tacos, the torta, and the flautas. This is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had and I’ve been to Mexico. If you come you absolutely have to end your meal with the tres leches cake. Do NOT pass this place up!

100% legit food. Everything you order will be seasoned and flavored better than you imagined. All the sauces are fresh. Portions are generous but appropriate. I will frequent this place.
